We were very comfortable and appreciated the cleanliness of our room. It was convenient to get to Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge to see the Sandhill Cranes and to Great Sand Dunes National Park. The breakfast buffet was above average. Highly recommend and will stay here again when I visit this area.

A wee bit disappointed

Room was smelly from some spray to cover pet odor. The hotel setting was great with a backdrop of the Sanger de Cristo mountains but many of the windows had moisture in between the panes and you could not see anything clearly.

We were originally booked into the neighboring Holiday Inn Express, but their pool was under repair and they allowed us to cancel our prepaid reservation. Hampton Inn had a room at a decent rate and the pool and hot tub were available. Room was large, beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water, and quiet. The breakfast was the standard eggs, potatoes, and sausage. Very nice overall and would stay there again.
