Spacious 5-bedroom farmhouse in fantastic Alentejo landscape

Situated in the heart of the Alentejo region, 7km away from the town of Alandroal, the Herdade dos Calvinos has two villas available with five rooms each, 8 of which a suite, high-speed Wi-Fi and a pool each. Two perfect "montes" (traditional local houses) for periods of rest spent among family and friends. Being a unit of agro-tourism, during harvest season of pistachio and olive the activities of the Herdade invite sharing of their wisdom, and tasting of products of the Herdade and the region are available (pistachio, olives, wine, bread, chorizo...). The Herdade possesses a diversified landscape where holm oak agroforestry system, olive trees, stone pine, and a 27 ha plantation of pistachio trees are harmoniously integrated.
This family-owned farm started as a passionate project in 2018 to restore a personal connection to the earth and Mother Nature's cycle of life. We take great pleasure in being embedded in, and part of, what this beautiful region has to offer and enabling other people to partake in its serenity and beauty.
Besides the peace and wellbeing of such a wide, quiet, and private landscape, we propose strolls or bike rides and visits to numerous points of interest a short drive away: the beautiful Azenhas d'El Rey beach, Monsaraz, Juromenha, walkways of Serra d'Ossa, as well as wineries. The excellent regional gastronomy is also well represented in the area.
