Very comfortable bed and pillows. Hot and powerful shower. Breakfast is lackluster to say the least. We had a late night check in and the lobby smelled of weed. However other than that, it was a nice stay. There is a target across the street and gas station right in front. So there are conveniences within walking distance.

The hotel staff was friendly. There were no elevators, which we were unaware of. It was ok for us to haul our luggage up the stairs, but this may be an issue for some people. The bed and pillows were a bit on the soft side. The tv wasn’t connected to WiFi, so our viewing was limited. The walls between the rooms are pretty thin and pliable. Let’s just say our headboard had some vibration going on during the night because of the next door neighbors. They were boinking!😳 Breakfast was very limited, consisting of basically pastries. The coffee had lots of grinds floating in it. Needless to say, we did not eat the “included breakfast” and we made a Starbucks stop on the way out.

I got a great rate on a last minute night here. I’ve grown to trust Microtel as a value brand. But I have to say I didn’t feel real safe as a solo traveler at this hotel. Everything was run down. If there was an elevator, I never found it. The stairwell was dingy and covered in dirty carpeting. The hall carpets and doors and trim are in bad need of updating. There were holes in the curtains, either from burns or just wear from the sun. In a word, everything felt sketchy. I didn’t feel very safe and secure so I hardly slept a wink.
