Disliked: Cleanliness
Did not stay. House smelled like smoke. Also was not clean. I sent owner pictures of dirty stove, fridge, standing water in tub, porch with rocks tree limbs and flip flops. I stayed at a hotel on first night and asked owner to please clean the property and we would stay the next day but owner refunded money and put it back on the market to rent. This left us scrambling to find a place to stay for the remainder of our trip.

Very nice getaway

The lodge was clean and comfortable. The pond was very fun (kayaking and fishing). The kids loved the bounce houses! There are many parks and things to do nearby (within a 30 minute drive).

Great Escape

We were able to do an early check in before wedding rehearsal which was amazing! Cute spot, great location. Exactly as described. A couple of different trails to hike, a waterfall (we didn't explore and find unfortunately), hot tub, fishing spot, kayak, arcade and game room!!! Beds were super comfortable, plenty of pillows and water was nice and hot. Kitchen fully stocked with ice in fridge! We couldn't get the TV to connect to wifi but we weren't really there to watch TV anyways! It was a super busy weekend and we didn't get to enjoy a lot of the amenities, so we plan on going back soon.

We cannot wait to come back!

We had the best time at the cabin and on the property. The cabin was so clean and so comfortable. It truly had everything we needed for a perfect weekend. My fiancé absolutely loved going to the private lake to go fishing. We officially only want to stay here for all of our future trips to Guntersville. It’s a really magical property and we cannot wait to come back!
