This poor review is unfortunate because all these problems could have been avoided. It is our opinion that this remodel was unfinished and not ready to be rented. The staircase had a wide open space at the top of the stairs. There were no railings/barriers to inhibit a fall down the staircase. The refrigerator door actually opened up into this open space. While putting away groceries I stepped into the gap and tumbled down the stairs. I was unable to move so everyone thought I broke my back or had a concussion. They called an ambulance. It took the ambulance over an hour to arrive. They took me to emergency at Faro Hospital. I was in the emergency room with my wife and grandson for over 8 hours. They did a cat scan, and fortunately, did not find broken bones in my back or neck area. Because of my injured back I could not drive my rental car. I had to add my grandson as a driver at an additional cost of 198.14. I also cannot do any activities or use stairs so my injury has not only limited my enjoyment but my family members have only gone to restaurants I can walk to which have left out many options to them as well. Showers water flows on to the floors. The second bedroom, where my granddaughter sleeps, was so bad the water went under the bed and out into the hall. She stopped using it and shared her parents shower on the second floor. The rest of us just use the hand held shower heads to limit the water flow. The owner refused to fix this problem
