The villa Panorama Atlantico is in the peaceful holiday complex Monte da Galé in Praia da Galé on the Algarve in Portugal. The villa with 130 m2 living space has 4 bedrooms (on two floors), 4 bathrooms (some with shower/bath), living room (with SAT-TV and stereo system) and a fully equipped kitchen. The spacious garden with pool and outdoor grill invites you to be lazy and relax. The sea and the beach with one of the most beautiful coasts in Europe can be reached in a few minutes on foot. You can choose between long beach walks or walks along the typical bizarre cliff formations of the Algarve. The holiday complex Monte da Galé with its villas and two-story apartment houses is surrounded by Mediterranean plants. The complex has a reception desk, a tower restaurant and a supermarket with coffee. The city of Praia da Galé with a lot of shopping facilities and restaurants can be reached on foot in a 5 minute walk.

Sport & recreation: Sport options nearby include fishing, horse riding, surfing, sailing and diving. Furthermore, you can also go on boating tours, deep sea fishing or safaris in the mountains.

The beach of Praia da Galé: The long beach of Praia da Galé is divided into multiple sections. To the east it is bordered by cliffs. To the west the beach is wider and about 2 km long. You can walk to Amacao de Pera.

The closest Galé beach to the east is Manuel Lourenco. The relatively small bay is surrounded by 15 m high cliffs. The sand is very fine and clean - a small paradise.

Beautiful villa and great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway here. Clean, beautiful rooms, and responsive host/manager. Two minor things: we did not have bath soap provided and the water pressure was limited sometimes. Overall, we can't wait to come back here soon!

Beautiful, roomy villa, right by the by the beach

Perfect! We were 2 families, total of 7, and the house was spacious and more beautiful than the pictures. Every night we had a view of the sunset from the deck and pool. Even in the heat of August there was ample shade outside. The house was equipped with everything you might need for a week-long stay, and was a short walk to a good supermarket. We also loved the Italian restaurant, and beach bars that were walking distance from the house. This was our first trip to the Algarve and we fell in love. We hope to come back and stay here again!

Overall a lovely and clean Villa. Enjoyed our stay

This property is very clean and has all the things you need to ensure you have a lovely holiday. The beach is walking distance and can be seen from the villa. The car park at the back of the villa barely registers so don't be put off by that. You are more likely to hear your lively neighbours than any cars. The pros: location location location. Apolonia supermarket is an 8 minute walk away. Rather pricey but has everything you need. You also have a comvenience store 2 minutes away near where the bins are. Swimming pool is a great, its clean as is overall the house. Kitchen has all the mod cons you will need. Lounge chairs...just overall great place. Another pro would be that we didn't get bothered by house managers and it was easy to find the keys. Sabina was our main conctact and she is great. The cons The beds! It says it will have 1 double bedroom, 2 kings and 1 single but ALL the bedrooms have 2 singles beds which is not ideal. The rooms are tiny! The beds are not comfortable. I think the rooms are tiny because they have 2 ensuites and 2 family bathrooms. But the rooms are tiny and the wardrobes are nothing to write home about. We lived out of our suitcases. So if you are travelling, be aware. You won't get what the advertisement describes. The bed sheets are not up to par Overall it was a lovely stay but not sure we would stay again due to the bedrooms and bed issues

Lovely location close to beach

Great location close to the beach, with a pool to enjoy as well. The property was large and clean. We had four adults and four kids comfortably in the place. We were there for a weekend and found it lacking in basics that we've usually found at other places - dish detergent, cleaning supplies, paper towels etc. for a place close to beach it would have been nice to have beach towels and umbrellas handy as well. Otherwise amazing place and location.

Great location and stunning views

Had an amazing week away with friends at this villa for the second time. The recent upgrades (air con, heated pool and decor) were noticeable and appreciated. The beach is a short stroll, as is Apolonia supermarket. We didn't hire a car but this would be useful if you want to explore further afield. This villa has a beautiful view in a quiet, but classy, location.

Just amazing and definitly worth going.

It was amazing and so easy to check in. The host was very helpfull and was 100% worth every penny. (Shame the pool was cold and was not advised before arriving that we need to notfy that we want it to be warm, but when asked the landlord said its an additional €40 a day)

Clean and great location

The location for the beach, restaurants, bars and supermarket is great. The owner was helpful and responds quickly. The apartment is very well equipped and very clean. The car park at the back was very quiet in the day so not an issue. At night you can get a few groups of youngsters in cars and on motorbikes meeting up in the car park but in all fairness they never stayed late and the only noise was when a couple of bikes revved up to leave. We were mainly indoors by then anyway. Last week in Sept and the weather was perfect. Would love to visit again!

Fabulous Location

Wonderful whole detached villa in a great location within the quiet and tasteful resort of Gale Beach. Spacious four bedroom four bathroom property which was very much appreciated by us six ladies. Some areas could do with some up-dating but this did not distract from our fun and relaxing holiday in May 2022.

Bad stay, the only saving grace is the view!

We stayed in this villa during COVID and overall our experience was not good. The sheets and pillows are very old and were pretty horrible when we took the pillow cases off. There was black liquid dripping down the staircase wall and the security alarm was broken the whole time. When it came time to check out, we along with the property manager discovered evidence of an attempted breakin on the outer windows. This made me feel incredibly unsafe and frustrated that there had been no efforts made to fix the security alarm. If it were not for strict lockdown restrictions, we probably would have moved to other accommodations. The only saving grace is the location and the view.

Good location

Overall very nice, spacious property. Newly decorated and clean. Integral dishwasher door needs fitting ASAP as very difficult to load/unload. No cleaning products supplied and required to do own laundry of sheets and towels (6 week stay), was not aware of this - may be my own lack of knowledge? The bed linen and towels could do with replacing soon due to wear and tear. Good communication with the owner.

Lovely comfortable villa

We stayed as a group of 8 adults. There was enough room for us to all sit down together comfortably in the evenings. The rear of the property looks over a car park to the sea and there were amazing sunsets which are reflected in the large windows of the villa. The beautiful beach is a very short stroll away. The only issue we had was that without a car it’s a quite a trek to get to a large supermarket. It is in a relatively quiet area, with only a few shops and restaurants close by unless you venture into the nearby towns. Generally we were very happy with the villa. Communications with the owner and manager were excellent.

We enjoyed an excellent three-week family holiday in this villa. Our slightly negative comments should be read bearing that in mind. The grass was unmown when we arrived and not touched (apart from auto-watering) during our stay. It gave the garden an unkempt look. The pool was one of the best we've ever enjoyed - good size, good depth - BUT water was a murky green when we arrived and it took the technician several days to get it clear. Why not sorted before we arrived? The villa enjoys an excellent view out over the bay towards the sunset. It is part of a characterful development of private villas, all of which have recently been repainted externally. This villa has not and looks shabby in comparison with its neighbours. Overall, a very good holiday choice which would benefit from a more professional maintenance approach.

We love Gale it’s so chilled out and beautiful, the villa was lovely 4 large bedrooms, large kitchen/living area perfect for a large family. Good pool and outside space. We really enjoyed our stay.

Awesome location and accommodations!

We rented this house for 32 days and loved every minute of it. Beautiful views of the ocean from the livingroom and yard. The house is very roomy with all amenities required for long term stay. We were a 10 minute walk to the grocery store and 5 minutes to the bus stop. I highly recommend!
