Nice hotel, inspite of noisy neighbor

The place has an old, classic, Southwest charm, beautiful! The restaurant and shop were fantastic. Unfortunately, the guest I had next door was loud and profaned. The couple's two large dogs whined early in the morning. There was a smoky smell coming through the walls. The walls were too thin, I suppose. Otherwise, had it not been for the Noisy Neighbor, I would have given this hotel a perfect score. The property is nestled in the historic Old Town area. Very quiet for the most part. Overall, It was worth the stay in spite of the noisy neighbor nextdoor.

Deceiving pictures, poor customer service

What a terrible experience. The hotel rooms are not worth $350/night. We saw worn out carpet, no shower pressure, no hot water during our one-night stay. The hotel is truly subpar. We had a fire alarm go off during the morning hours and they left electrical wires hanging on the box on 7th floor which was an ugly site and a huge safety risk. The front desk staff was condescending and rude. They charged us for full day for being 10 minutes past check out time and refused to engage. No decent hotel does that! Especially when your room is getting cleaned as we are leaving and you are not losing any business for the night. When we pushed back, they called security on us. We were with a 2-year-old kid and security asked us questions for upsetting the front desk staff Hossein!! We have traveled to cities all over the world but have never experienced such ludicrous behavior from the front desk staff!

Except there was a wedding happening which played twang country until 10 pm then the wedding party continued late into the night when we had to be up for 4 am flight. Front desk staff very helpful. Arrived early and was able to check in easily. Also checkout was a breeze. Housekeeping was good the first night but totally MIA the second night. We were down at the end of the hall but they still should have seen or had the room on a list to be cleaned. But by the time we got back we were too tired to deal with someone coming to clean so didn’t request for housekeeping to come do their thing. But based on the front desk I’m sure it would have been resolved to some extent. Also one elevator was extremely slow. Like very very slow to close the door. Normally would have to worry abt getting eaten by elevator doors but no worries about this one. It literally took over 20 seconds to close! I know this because we timed it LoL. Would stay again because these issues were not super bad compared to other places.
