Do not recommend.

Absolutely horrible. We got locked out of our room after dinner because the battery died. It took them over 2 hours to get it fixed and we had to wait in the lobby till 8:30 in the evening. The staff made no effort to accommodate us while we had to wait on the manager and then maintenance.

My parents travel across the states a couple times a year and La Quinta Albuquerque is their go to when traveling. Unfortunately this property has gone down hill over the last couple years. When booking for their last stay we requested a mobility room with a walk in shower because my mother has a broken foot. The room they were given had a bathtub not a walk in shower and also the toilet handle was broken so they had to take the tank lid off to flush it. The refrigerator didn’t work and the only thing left when they went down to breakfast was toast (and that was only a half hour into breakfast service). I’m sorry to say this will be the last time we visit this location. Homeless camps in the area have increased significantly as well.

The hotel's advertising says newly refreshed, but sure doesn't seem so. The property is dingy, both inside and out, and the lobby and common area looked like they needed mopping. In addition, the staff acted ambivalent and doing you a favor to let you a room. Further they have only 1 luggage cart, and to use it they hold your drivers license until it's returned. Even worse, you have to sign in to get pool towels, and they must be returned to the desk. We travel extensively, but will NEVER return to this property!

This place was convenient for what we needed. The front desk clerk Grace was so very helpful. The reason for the average rating was because we didn't get our room cleaned, trash emptied or new towels. We had to go downstairs & get our own. Even when we called downstairs to get some, it took forever for them to come so that's why we went & got them ourselves.
