Coming up to the property it looked run down and broken, the check in staff in the afternoon of 5-9 was nice and the room was ok, there was some tiny mold spots above the shower but nothing that prevented me from showering. In the morning the breakfast attendant was very rude to an older couple that I had to step in. The container that held the Milk was not labeled so the older couple asked and was told “it’s right there” when I mentioned it wasn’t labeled and I had thought it was tea, the breakfast attendant said “well it’s right there” completely dismissing me and the older couple. Having milk in a coffee canister makes me question if the milk is safe to use. I later realized the breakfast attendant was also the front desk, which doesn’t make matters better as this sets an example that the staff can be rude then rude again as you check out. I am giving it a 2 star review as I mentioned walking up to the property it looked run down and falling apart and the only staff member that was friendly the gentleman that checked me in.

The price was great! Was surprised there was 3 queen beds. HOWEVER IN THE ROOM THE LIGHT WOULDNT TURN IN SO MY HUBAND HAD TO GO TO LIGHT AND SWTUCH IT ON AND WHEN WE DID COCKROACHES RAN OF THE BED!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!! It wasnt one but 5 and top it off in the shower head you could see a leg sticking out the shower head!!! And the room smelled like bed bug spray with alot of bug spray. I wanted tobleave but it was already really really late so stayed and left 6 hours later!!!!! I won't come here again...i dont think they should be open with cockroaches

I of course, wasn’t expecting some five star hotel but I also was not expecting some random maintenance guy at 8 AM in the morning sanding the metal door frame. It was extremely loud woke my husband in six month old baby up. Not entirely upset about it went downstairs to lobby to inform the front desk because that is super sketchy. You would at least knock on the door to see if anybody’s there, but you didn’t. Front desk did not give a damn. Just said oh I’m sorry.Then the next day went to the parking lot and found someone’s keys and brought them to the front desk. Another staff member completely did not care and ignored me. I’m not so sure if it’s just the hotel itself or because the individuals at the front desk were young, but they were extremely rude. First thing I noticed when we were in a room was that there was tobacco stuck to the side of a dresser, but there were a bunch of signs saying no smoking. The bathroom was not clean thoroughly and when we took a shower a bunch of little black specs came out of the crevices of the shower. I would have loved to speak to someone higher up, but there was absolutely nowhere to contact someone like that other than the front desk who were rude.

Needs repair

The carpet was stained and not taut. The chair cushions were stained, and the paint was worn off in parts. The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was acceptable. Price was reasonable.

Our room didn’t have a window that closed. Felt very unsafe. Staff was not available. Barbed wire on garbage cans and no lighted parking areas.

This Super 8 has amazing customer service! Lisa reached out prior to us arriving and went above and beyond to accommodate the desire to be placed next to our friends that were meeting us there!! Only downfall is the recommendation (due to corporate) to use the app Order Inn to order "room service". Convenient due to being on the road all day, inconvenient that they split the delivery from one restaurant into 2 drivers and in my opinion overcharge for their service ( almost double than if we picked the order up ourselves). Breakfast was your typical options for hotel lobbys. Coffee was hot and ready! If we travel back through Albuquerque, we'll definitely stay here again! They actively have some construction taking place at the property, so maybe we'll see updated carpet. So for the property itself, the carpet and potpourri smell would be the only thing negative. But the customer service made it worth the hassle!

Tucked away stay

The hotel is tucked away from the highway and is quiet. The room was clean. Advertised as pet friendly it was good with my dog but the grounds did not provide any area for the taking care of business. Getting in and out for restaurants is somewhat challenging if you are not familiar with the area. There are several restaurants around but they were not convenient to get to. There was a security truck on the parking lot. There was another one parked near the convenience store a block away. I did not experience any issues but it did make me wonder why.
