We had a fabulous family holiday at this beautiful, spacious villa in Alcover with six adults and four children. The house was very clean, with its fantastic pool and large grounds really made the holiday for us. The outdoor kitchen was also a lovely space for eating outside. A special mention must go to Sandra and her husband, who were exceptional hosts. They were so friendly, helpful and couldn’t have done more for us. They helped with everything from giving us a lift into the village when we arrived early, to sorting an air-conditioning leak immediately and helping us find the local health centre when one of the children became unwell. Sandra also showed us the supermarket and rubbish facilities and recommended local restaurants. We did find a car essential, despite the description suggesting otherwise, particularly as local restaurants had limited opening times. As we had booked a five-bedroom property, we were disappointed that the fifth bedroom had no air conditioning and appeared to have no door separating it from the lounge, making it extremely hot. We suggest making this clearer in the description. A few extra mugs, pool parasols and unbreakable glasses for around the pool would also be useful. We had a wonderful holiday but Sandra and her husband really made our stay special. We felt very welcome, safe and well looked after. With a few small improvements and clearer information this could be an even better experience. We would definitely recommend.
