Welcome to our lake front rental property! We are thrilled to have you as our guests and hope that your stay will be both relaxing and enjoyable. Our little cottage was built in 1912, My husband and I were fortunate to acquire in 2017 and now in 2024 our Blue Dream Cottage is finished and ready to enjoy. Seven years to create our perfect idea of a cottage by the lake.
Our property features stunning views of the lake, a private dock for swimming and fishing and a cozy cottage for you to unwind in. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a fun filled vacation, our lake front rental is the perfect place for you.
If you happen to have brought a boat, jet ski or renting from a nearby location there is a mooring directly off the dock straight ahead.

Blue Dream our Cozy Cottage is a great vacation getaway to enjoy as a family. Located on Torch Lake, just a couple blocks away from downtown Alden MI. One thing we love about Blue Dream is how conveniently located it is to grab coffee and breakfast in the morning at Muffin tin (lunch option too), get lunch or dinner at the Torch Lake Beer Co., grabbing an ice cream at Higgin's and enjoying a fire making smores while looking at a beautiful Torch Lake sunset. Check in Days are Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday with a four night minimum. Check out days are Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Beautiful newly remodeled cabin on a beautiful lake

Wonderful stay for our family with 2 younger children. Easy lake access with dock and mooring ball worked perfectly with our pontoon boat. Shallow with sandy bottom quite a ways out which worked out great for the kids. Only steps to Alden with couple nice spots to eat and shops. Rental provided all we needed and host was super responsive/helpful.

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location

We stayed here during the long weekend for the 4th of July. It was a great weekend. The weather was a little dicey at times but this cottage is VERY nice, on the water, and a 2 minute walk to all that Alden’s downtown has to offer. Probably the nicest rental property in the area.
