Lovely gem

Great hotel in the middle of all things alesund. We used the sauna twice in the three days we stayed. Loved meeting other travelers there and in front of the massive fireplace. Our room overlooked the canal

This was a great hotel - excellent location and fabulous staff! We got in about 530 and the restaurant we wanted to go to for dinner showed no availability online. Christine at the front desk called them and they were able to accommodate us, and dinner was fabulous! We were leaving at 445am to catch a flight and they prepared sandwiches for us since we did not have time for breakfast. The location is ideal, close to everything and also a very pretty part of the city.
