Perfect for visiting Mt Vernon

Location was perfect for event at Mt Vernon. Room has cable tv, a refrigerator and microwave. Property has picnic tables.

Older Property

Pros - AC, TV, and hot water all worked great. Room was spacious. As we had four people sharing one room, it was nice to have the double vanities. It made it easier for everyone to get ready. Location is very convenient to shopping and dining, and we felt safe. Cons - The beds were not very comfortable. The pillows also were not great. Some reviewers seem to really love the breakfast that is provided, but we were not impressed. There were no hot options other than bread items (so no eggs or sausage or anything like that). There were only two waffle irons to service the entire breakfast crowd, and the breakfast room was very warm. We actually left to get breakfast.

Our hotel was dirty. Carpet felt dusty refrigerator had cheese in it (not sure how long it was in there) the beds did not feel clean. We went to the store and brought cleaning products to clean the room. The overall experience was not good. Plus our room was not even touched after we left a few times so we had to sleep in the same old sheets. We had to ask for clean towels after someone went into the room and picked up the ones we used. It was an awful experience and we wont be coming back.

Stayed friday and saturday night. Morning of sunday noticed some raised bumps on skin. More bumps came sunday night, and monday morning. Bed bugs. Had to go to doctor for 4 different medicines
