Apartment in the city centre and is in a building that sits on the archaeological remains of the wall on the Ladera de El Portón from the 16th century, of the Castle of Santa Barbara and where there is also access to an air raid shelter from the Civil War, a protected area and rehabilitated by urban planning.
The amenities offered by the house are excellent, to make your stay comfortable, perfect for 2 people and with capacity for 5. With a room with a double bed and a sofa bed, in the living/dining room, in addition to its open kitchen and dining room, there is a double sofa bed and a beautiful, bright balcony. Its excellent location in the old town, (EL BARRIO) and close to Postiguet Beach make it a good option for your holidays, leisure and attractive activities for the traveler, both for a getaway with friends or family. 10 minutes walk from the beach and the port, surrounded by tourist attractions, Cathedrals, Town Hall, Churches, Basilicas, Castle, Museums, Theaters, Parks, shops, supermarkets, stores (Central Market), bars, tapas and pubs.
You don't need a car, it's easy to get there by bus, which arrive directly from the airport (LINE 6C), or taxi, or by tram.

Perfect location and apartment
This flat was clean and bright, well stocked with cooking supplies, comfortable bed, pull-out sofa perfect for a third person, and nicely updated bathroom. Only a block from the tram. Maritza was very kind and responsive. Olga met us for check-in and was gracious when we had issues with the ATM. We parked in St. Cristobal garage, 55 for a week with a 6 deposit for the access card with unlimited in-and-out. Don't hesitate, book now!

A great little place right in the middle of the city close to everything - shops, old town, beach and bars and restaurants. Maritza is a great host and communication with her was easy. I thoroughly recommend this apartment and look forward to using it again.

Great location, basic apartment
The location was great on the edge of old town and about 10 minutes to beach. Pharmacy, supermarket and bakery are all within one block. Less than 5 minutes to Central Market. On the edge of the Castle for a walk up to the top. The apartment was ok. There were no beach towels or beach furniture except for one, old rusty chair on the terrace. The furniture on the terrace was also uncomfortable, rickety and very dusty. Only one kitchen towel, two bath towels, and two hand towels provided. The sofa is covered in an old I'll-fitting couch cover. The bedding is cheap and the bed is small. The accommodation was fine but sort of had a college dorm room/apartment vibe. Shower head was a little clogged so water didn't come out well and hot water is very limited. The washing machine was great and a drying rack is provided. If you are looking for a good location in a very basic apartment this is great.

Super Cute - Perfect spot in the middle of everything
This is a great little apartment in the heart of old town Alicante. The location can't be beat whether you're in the mood to bar hop, sight-see, or hang out by the beach. The place is clean and well-appointed, and the fridge works. Maritza is a welcoming host and made the check in process easy, even though we arrived very late at night.
Minor downsides - you'll have to take a quick shower because the hot water runs out quickly and the bed isn't the most comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.

Delightful, modern and fabulous location!
This super clean and comfortable rental sits just on the edge of the "Old " part of Alicante city and is just perfectly located for both ease of wandering the quaint streets packed with restaurants and bars and delightful little stores too. Just a few minutes down to the main esplanade and access to Postiguet beach. The apartment is in great condition and clearly well managed with lots of attention to details that matter to a weary traveller. The wifi was excellent too. Only 1 minute to walk to the tram station of Mercado made it great for connecting to other parts of the city. Take the tram to St Juan beach ! Thanks Martitza, I had a lovely stay.!

Die Wohnung hatte eine gute Größe, es war alles vorhanden, sogar Extras wie Sonnenschirme, Strandstuhl. Balkon ist zu Zweit gut zu nutzen, allerdings müssten die Stühle mal ersetzt werden. Küchenausstattung war für uns ok, für Kaffeetrinker: es fehlt eine Kaffeemaschine (French press vorhanden), der Kaffeeladen ggü. ist Weltklasse. Trotz Innenstadtlage und Festwoche war es ruhig bei heruntergelassenen Jalousien, Klima arbeitet sehr gut.Das Bett war uns persönlich zu klein (140 cm breit) und zu weich, ist aber Geschmackssache! Die Lage ist einfach perfekt, mitten in der Stadt, alles perfekt und fußläufig zu erreichen. Betreuung der Vermieterin Maritza war einfach fantastisch, vom Empfang (Olga), bis zur Betreuung. Waren in der Woche des San Juan Festes da und bekamen viel Infos von ihr aufs Handy über das Programm, Termine, Empfehlungen. Einen Tag funktionierte der Fahrstuhl nicht, haben ungefragt eine Mail bekommen, dass er defekt ist und ein Techniker kommt. Am gleichen Tag lief der Fahrstuhl wieder. Alles in allem war es eine tolle Woche in einer tollen Ferienwohnung, beim nächsten Mal wieder!!
