A well-situated and well-maintained hotel with compact rooms. To enjoy the sea view, you will have to put up with the stairs behind your wall, which can be an issue if other guests are letting their kids run up and down them endlessly. The hotel does provide you with high quality earplugs though, which more of them should do. Also, separate cold&hot taps in the bathroom may be charmingly rustic, but it is also a little inconvenient for Nordic people. Would likely stay again.

Beautiful gem with good vibe

Stayed in room no 15, a cosy small room on top floor, stylishly furnished in green and brass, view over the rooftops and a glimpse of the sea through the skylight. Beds a bit too soft for our taste but everything else about this hotel was excellent. Very nice breakfast.Helpful staff. Very good location. Beautifully decorated in Scandinavian style. Clean room. Would definitely stay again.

A wonderful experience

Fantastic hotel. Excellent location, close to the harbour and everything else in Allinge. Extremely kind and helpful staff. At all times service with a smile. Cleanliness was top notch, in the rooms as well as in the rest of the hotel. Very fine breakfast. Unfortunately did not try the restaurant, which seems a pity as the menu looked very good. Did, however, try a number of the outstanding beers from the local Svaneke brewery which are served on tap in the bar and may be enjoyed in the cosy courtyard of the hotel. Highly recommended and definately an hotel I would come back to if visiting this pearl of an island in the middle of the Baltic.

Dejligt ophold generelt. Et hotel hvor æstetik prioriteres over funktionalitet. De små dobbeltværelser er vanskelige at bo i med selv ganske lidt bagage. Du skal flytte rundt på ting og kuffert. Ingen afsætningsplads på badeværelset eller på værelset. De store værelser dejlige, men samme problematik med manglende afsætning på badeværelse. Personalet (særlig Florence) var utrolig serviceorienteret. Dejlig beliggenhed og central placering for vandreture og andre udflugtsmål. Godt råd til hotellet: send ikke sms eller mail med info om indtjekning når infoen ikke kan anvendes eller er relevant. Gør også gerne opmærksom på at det er problematisk at ankomme efter kl. 22, i stedet for at ringe gæster op efter en ellers fin info-sms.
