The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. They were also very efficient. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant and breakfast was also very good. Nice room and bathroom and lovely comfy bed. Stunning area and beautiful beaches.

Amazing

Such a nice place to stay, we’ll definitely be back. The staff were so friendly, the food was great, and the room was lovely. It’s hard to ask for more from a hotel. The parking area was small but we had no problem getting a space. It doesn’t have EV chargers but there are 4 by the beach which is a 2 minute walk away. Our dog was so welcome there in the room and the dining room, he loved it too. My only tiny criticism is it’s not clear on this app which rooms are dog friendly and we had to do a last minute upgrade, so do speak to them before you get there. All in all, we loved it and can’t wait to go again!

Perfection at the Whittling House

Absolute perfection, I cannot recommend the Whittling House highly enough on every aspect. Breakfast was of the highest standard with exemplary service with a smile. Set in a small friendly community this is an excellent hotel choice, give it a go you will not be disappointed

The hotel was lovely and the town of Alnmouth was very nice too , food in the restaurant was very nice with good service. The only downside was the smell from the kitchen made its way into our room from the vents outside our window.
