The building was a surprise. It is an upstairs apartment but clean and very close to everything we wanted to do. We had a slight problem opening the lockbox but all went well. Hosts were very nice.

Perfect weekend

We had a wonderful weekend in Alpena. The house was perfect for my two sisters and me.The property was shining, and the host was quick to respond when I messaged for extra blankets.There was plenty of room to hang out in the living room on our one rainy day, and it was perfectly located as a hub for shopping and the beach for the other days. We would definitely rent again.

Hidden Treasure!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! When we walked in we immediately noticed how clean the place is and what a central location it was! Short bike or walk to the beaches and downtown. We had the pleasure of meeting the hosts, Ashley and Ryan, face to face and they were absolutely wonderful! They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was nothing but the best. Wonderful Location

This place was fantastic. Everything looked like the pictures. The only negative, and it might be listed somewhere in the description, but i did not see it, is that the apartment is upstairs. Very narrow stairwell, anyone with any type of walking problems would have a difficult time. But with that being said I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation, except what I said above.

Nice place. Close to almost everything in Alpena. Ryan was very helpful when we had some challenges opening the lockbox. The shipwreck boat tour pamphlet in the property wss outdated as we found out that 4 pm ferry isn't there anymore. May want to replace those. We'll recommend it!

We loved our vacation lodge. It made a great afternoon nap time place for the little one while everyone else played at the splash pad and beach SE about 1/2 mile away on State Ave. Most of our time was spent out and about with family nearby but it was always great to get back to our place. Loved making breakfast there. Fully stocked kitchen tools and appliances, plus seasonings, sugars, coffee, oils and oil spray, and more.
