Set in gorgeous surroundings, the field barn has everything you need for a rural retreat. It was always warm (something which we considered before booking it for our December stay) and we felt at home right away. Beds were clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and the oven worked well. Lots of opportunities to go on walks directly from the property too. We like to stay in beautiful places and this ticked that box! The only suggestions we came away with were that the slabs outside the entrance were very slippery when wet, jet washing them regularly would solve this issue, we ended up avoiding them altogether after a close call. We appreciated the milk in the fridge and small selection of hot drinks options. It isn't a big welcome pack compared to other properties we have stayed at but for the price we paid we don't mind. Overall a really good stay and we would return!
