The farmhouse combines centuries of character with thoughtful modern comforts, including a private sauna and outdoor shower, cosy fireplaces, a beautifully renovated kitchen and comfortable accommodation for up to eight guests.

THE HOUSE
The farmhouse sleeps up to eight guests across three bedrooms and has two bathrooms.
Built in 1707, Low Annat Walls retains the character and atmosphere of a historic North Pennine farmhouse while providing the comfort you would expect from a carefully renovated holiday home.
The living areas provide plenty of room for everyone to gather, while also offering quiet corners to curl up with book or simply enjoy the views.
The sunroom is a particularly lovely place to sit with a morning coffee or a glass of wine while taking in the views across the valley.

The stunning location sets Low Annat Walls apart. With views across the valley towards Cross Fell and the ancient Roman road leading to Epiacum, the farmhouse is surrounded by open countryside. There is plenty to do without getting in the car: Walking routes directly from the doorstep, fishing down at the South Tyne river or simply sitting outside on the patio with the ever changing light across the fells. At night, thanks to the lack of light pollution, the area offers some of the best dark skies in the country.

ALSTON & THE NORTH PENNINES
The property is about a mile out side of Alston, England's highest market town.
Alston with its cafes, pubs and independent shops can be reached by foot, making it easy to enjoy the town without giving up the peace and privacy of the farmhouse. Low Annat Walls is ideally located for exploring the North Pennines with many local attractions as well as taking easy day trips to Hadrian's Wall, Northumberland, the Lake District and both coasts.

PARKING & ACCESS
There is ample parking for three cars.
Please note the access to the farmhouse is via a single file farm track. SUVs or vehicles with reasonable ground clearance are recommended.
