The Schoolhouse Inn is great for a clean convenient and affordable place to stay while fishing for Steelhead or salmon. Have stayed before and will stay again.

Clean, comfortable, good location, low cost.

Good basic hotel room accomodations with bunkroom (6 people) capacity and private bath. Very close (walking distance with your gear) to the river and they have the best smoked salmon in Altmar. Microwave, included coffee, all towels and linens, good hot water for showers. Good for a group on a fishing trip or a big family, but they are all single beds.

the hotel is definitely a fisherman's paradise. I was not there to fish but found it quaint and affordable. The owner's are very nice and accommodating and the surroundings are beautiful. only downfall was that the beds were a bit squishy.

Staying after School

I arrived about 6:30 pm. I was greated,by a friendly couple. They were accommodating and knowledgeable, of the area. I don't have many expections when it comes to the room. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. That's all I ask for,nothing more It had a bed and breakfast feel. I choose to stay here after a hiking trip.
