Villa Arcangela An is a charming and welcoming detached house located on a hillside overlooking the sea. It sleeps five people.

You will not need a car to stay at Villa Arcangela A. If you do have one, you can park it for a fee in a public car park in city centre Amalfi (since it is a public lot, parking spaces cannot be reserved). Villa Arcangela An is one of the holiday homes available in a small complex. Please find a general description of the complex below, and please scroll further down for a description of Villa Arcangela A.
Villa Arcangela An and B are two apartments that are part of a medieval building, which used to be an ancient Saracen watchtower. It is situated high up on a picturesque stretch of rocky coastline, at an elevation of approximately 100 metres (330 feet) above sea level, and almost sheer above the sea itself. Every view of the seascape in this area is truly breathtaking.

The building is part of a cluster of ancient houses clinging to the top of a rocky outcrop, all facing the sea and the sun, and surrounded by lemon groves. Here, the authentic locals of Amalfi live their lives at a quiet, unhurried pace, and there are no crowds of tourists.

You’ll reach it by walking uphill for about 20 metres (20 yards) along a short pedestrian alley. Once through the main door, you’ll find yourself in a small courtyard, enclosed on three sides by white walls, with the fourth side opening onto a spectacular view of the coast and the sea.
