Garage parking for 1 car (small/medium cars only); public car park at cost. Please note: No children.. This quaint one bedroom cottage is set in the very heart of Ambleside. Jackdaw Cottage is the perfect getaway and spring board to the Lakes. It is a cosy cottage with gas wood burner. The holiday home dates back from the 18th century and was part of a working community within Ambleside which had various types of industry. A good quality bed dressed in crisp cotton sheets guarantees a restful night’s sleep after a day on the fells or sightseeing. You can come back and relax and enjoy that well deserved break.
