We came in winter and our room was warm, quiet, comfortable, and clean. Our host offerered a complimentary daily breakfast that was delicious and was a very much appreciated start to the day. Location is steps away from the Chateau Royal as well as many good restaurants. Highly recommend this excelent hotel.

This is the perfect place to stay in Amboise, close to everything and lovely rooms. The breakfast is impeccable with freshly baked bread and homemade cakes. Catherine makes an effort to personalize the breakfast and gives great recommendations. She even booked us a hard to book restaurant. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

From the warm welcome by the hostess Caroline to the “Avoir” four days later all was so lovely. Our room was recently renovated, comfortable and so clean. Beautiful gardens - quiet and private. The breakfasts each morning were delicious and Caroline always made sure we were comfortable and informative of the area’s attractions. The location is ideal for dining and strolling through the shops, and the must see Château d’Amboise. We loved our time at Clos de Chateau and highly recommend it for future travelers to Ambroise and Loire Valley.

The property and host were delightful. The suite was perfect - clean, comfortable, well-appointed. We ate dinner in the beautiful garden one night. Breakfast was delicious with local cheeses, homemade jams and breads, and eggs to order. Caroline was friendly, hospitable, and very helpful. There was parking close by. The suite was within short walking distance from many attractions and restaurants. I highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Clos du Chateau. Our room was clean with good A/C considering we were there during an intense heatwave. Caroline prepared a beautiful breakfast every morning with fresh breads and homemade jams and spreads. She was also very helpful in advising us where to visit and we were never disappointed with her suggestion. If you’re visiting Amboise, which is truly beautiful, we advise staying at Le Clos du Chateau which is perfectly located to enjoy this adorable old town,

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour au Clos du Château!! Une chambre magnifique avec des matériaux nobles, un cadre d'un cadre olympien et une hôte aux petits soins. Pour couronner le tout, un petit déjeuner gargantuesque avec des produits frais. Nous vous le recommandons les yeux fermés !!
