Welcome to L'Écho du Huard, a cozy chalet located in Amherst, in the Laurentians, comfortably accommodating up to 12 guests.



With its brand-new spa, waterfront access, game room, and inviting indoor and outdoor spaces, this chalet is perfect for families and groups of friends looking to enjoy nature and a relaxing getaway.



⚠️ IMPORTANT BEFORE BOOKING



L'Écho du Huard is located in a quiet vacation area where several property owners share the same environment. The lake is also shared with other residents of the area.



This chalet is intended for guests looking for peace, nature, relaxation, and a quiet getaway.



To preserve the quality of life in the area, protect the lake environment, and maintain good relationships with neighbors, the following rules must be respected.



🔇 Respect for Quiet Hours and Neighbors



Sound travels very easily across the water.



For this reason:



❌ No sound systems are allowed outdoors.



This includes:



Bluetooth speakers;

radios;

sound systems;

music from phones or any other device.



This rule applies everywhere on the property:



waterfront area;

beach area;

dock;

spa;

outdoor firepit area;

yard.



Even low-volume music can disturb neighboring properties.



🌙 Outdoor noise is not permitted after 9:00 PM.



Outdoor activities must always remain calm and respectful, especially during the evening and nighttime.



🎉 Parties and Gatherings



The chalet is designed to provide a peaceful and relaxing stay, in harmony with nature and the surrounding neighborhood.



❌ Parties, events, loud gatherings, or any disruptive activity are strictly prohibited at all times.



Guests looking for a place to celebrate, party, or play loud music will not find the type of experience offered at this property.



Failure to respect these rules may result in intervention and, depending on the situation, termination of the stay without refund in order to preserve the safety and tranquility of the property.



🌊 Protecting the Lake Environment



To preserve the beauty and health of our beautiful lake, bringing your own watercraft or personal water equipment is strictly prohibited.



This rule helps prevent the introduction of invasive plants, algae, and species into the lake.



❌ Guests may not bring:



paddleboards;

kayaks;

canoes;

boats;

motorized or non-motorized watercraft.



❌ Personal floating equipment is also prohibited:



inflatable rings;

tubes;

floating mattresses;

water toys;

personal floating accessories.



Only the watercraft provided with the chalet may be used.



🎣 Fishing is strictly prohibited at all times.

🛏️ Please do not remove bedspreads or comforters.



📹 An outdoor camera monitors the main entrance and a camera located in the garage for security purposes only.



❄️ Winter weather conditions may affect road access. Winter tires and an appropriate vehicle are recommended. A 4x4 vehicle is mandatory to access the chalet during winter.



🔞 The minimum age to book the chalet is 25 years old.
