Friendly, helpful, excellent staff caring and attentive. Hotel full of character and so welcoming. The room was large,clean and 4 poster bed very comfy. What a beautiful find. This property was originally chosen for the size of the car park as we were driving a van and trailer, needing safe parking. My goodness, the car park is huge. When we entered the hotel, Gary met us. He is so kind and gave us loads of information that was required, also very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and the area. We are in the hotel restaurant. The meals were great and £70 for 3 main meals with alcoholic drinks. We then walked about the downstairs area, found a separate bar with pool table and darts. Breakfast was included with our room. At 7am sharp we were again greeted by Gary who served the nicest freshly cooked breakfast and was very attentive. We will definitely return to this property and spend some more time there to explore the area. Thank you Gary and staff for a fantastic stay

Great pub/hotel

Really traditional hotel and pub/restaurant. Food was really good and freshly cooked. Service was excellent I made a bit of a mistake asking for a full English breakfast. Apparently it's Welsh. I couldn't actually tell the difference though. 😁
