ホテルの雰囲気はよかった。シンプルで上品なロビー、親切なスタッフ、清潔な部屋、バスルームは、さすがオークラ。義理両親も満足そうだった。一階のレストランも美味しかった。 ちょっとダウンタウンから距離はあったが、 歩いてすぐの場所に日本食レストランがあった。 せっかくの日系ホテルなら、 日本語対応できるスタッフが1人でもいればよかったんじゃないかな。

The lobby area was very welcoming. They had put up a Christmas tree and lights which felt warm and festive. You can tell that the hotel had put a lot of effort in to the design and flow. It was in a good location, with good restaurants on site and others within 5 minutes walking distance. The spa and swimming pool was very clean and had a lovely decor. The rooms were of good size and the bathroom was immaculate. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. They were very welcoming of children and provided little slippers and sponges which was a nice touch. The staff at breakfast, the bar and serre were lovely and very attentive. Would definitely recommend staying here. The only issue we encountered was at check in where the employee literally just handed us the key and pointed to the elevators, unfortunately I had to ask him about details of breakfast, hotel facilities and when asked about bookings at the restaurants he simply replied you will be lucky to get a slot and did not even check. We did manage to speak to another member of staff later on who was better versed at making bookings.

日本のホテルということで、義理の両親のために予約しました。スタッフの対応、シンプルで清潔感あるロビー、部屋、どれも気に入りました。 一つ言うなら、周りが静かなレジデンスエリアなので、ショッピングできる店などからは少し離れています。 高齢の両親とはホテル内のレストランで夕食を考えていたのが予約がいっぱいでした。もう少しレストランがあればよかったなと思いました。 少し歩けば、レストランはあるので歩ける方は問題ないです。

Pretty typical lux-convention type hotel. Staff very friendly, good amenities and location. But scratches on desk, loose bar in shower... Nothing special unless this is what you're looking for. Pricey.

Requested to modify the Expedia booking which was accepted by Expedia as well as Hotel but once we arrived at the reception, the receptionist refused to give us the rooms unless they get the emails from Expedia. that was quite unhelpful specially after a long journey.
