Not a hotel . . Disappointed
From the first second we walked into the basic check-in area that has no toilets nor is a proper hotel lobby , to the morning we left, we felt we had made a huge mistake to book this place . The lady who checked us in spoke pigeon English & was not helpful at all about info related to the place . She must have skipped charm school ¬ attended customer service lessons . The room was adequate in size. Plastic chairs on the balcony. No fridge , no microwave & no amenities at the check in office other than a shop and 2 food trucks . This place is Not a hotel . Camp ground with a few rooms .we Were told to cross the road if we needed to use the restrooms. Cross the highway and go to the lodge across the road ? Really ? I would recommend that place , Denali village. We paid a high price for a dated place with no amenities at all . ½ h free internet did not work . Extra 7$/h for internet. Too many People seem to want to visit Denali which is making it extortionate and not value for money . This place did not have happy staff at front desk nor offer anything much . So un-American . We had breakfast at the Denali village which was better than nothing. We paid almost $1500/4 n. Such a shame we had paid in advance . There are other places that are much better for that kind of money . Motel standards are better
