Centrally located in the downtown area so easy walking to sights, shopping, restaurants and not far from the train station. The staff were all super friendly and were accommodating when I requested a room change (there was some outside noise that I couldn’t not hear). Decent breakfast included (basic but I don’t need fancy) and free tea and coffee all day. Vending machine available and Benihana in the parking lot. Lots of parking available and close to public transport options. I definitely recommend this hotel and if I ever go back to Anchorage, I’ll stay here again.

Unfortunately our request to have the toilet unclogged was not taken care of. We requested this in the morning, and when we returned in the evening, the toilet had not been attended to. "We are full, and we expect the toilets to be slow," and, "No one is here to do this for you--would you like a plunger" is not exemplary service. I did speak to the manager in person the next morning, but her simple apology and no further action tells me we should not stay here again. Unfortunately.

Front desk would not allow me to check in before 4pm. Not sure the bedding was clean, it smelled like baby powder deoderant. I don't wear baby powder scented deoderant. Also on 3rd day when housekeeping was scheduled to clean room, bedding was NOT changed. Very disappointing stay.
