Relax in the outdoor hot tub or firepit after a full adventure day. 1 minute away from South highway exit to the stunning Cook Inlet Bay for your next Alaskan excursion. Wifi, laundry and cleaning supplies provided. Driveway parking and guest parking available.



The Space:

Our home has been uniquely designed for guests to stay here in a completely private area indoors. This particular unit is on our middle floor of our home with kitchen, washer and dryer, bathroom, bedrooms, living space and hot tub access! An additional arctic room attached for all your winter/summer gear for storage to help avoid overcrowding your space in the home so you can relax after a long day of activities!



Your stay here is more than just a place to rest your head. You will have coffee, stocked laundry supplies, extensive kitchenware and additional linens.



*NOTE* Others may be staying on a different floor above or below you. Potential noise from other guests is definitely possible and most likely! We have put in noise proofing as much as possible. We encourage light background noise/tv or noise machine for comfort.



*NOTE* You may be sharing the hot tub with us the owners or potential guests staying in the unit above you that have access to the deck areas. It is very very rare we have both units that want to use it simultaneously. We can always put in a time requests also. We more so expect that guests take turns using the hot tub so everyone can enjoy the feature!

From this same deck access, you will have stairs leading to the roof top deck on the garage.

Getting Around:

The best way to see the beauty of Alaska is to have a vehicle. We are a HUGE state and to really see its beauty, you want a car.

Most of the tourist attractions and pick up locations for tours are located downtown, about 15 minutes away via highway.

Highway access is less than a minute away!



A full grocery store is in the area, about 1-2 minutes if that down the road. Wallgreens, ice cream shop, fast food, Wellsfargo and a few local resturants are also in the same area.



Our neighborhood is VERY safe for walking! Take the kids or dogs to Oceanview park, its just 2 neighborhood blocks away. The park has a jungle jim, short walking trails and can get to the train tracks for some unique photos!



Walk to a coffee kiosk stand and South Side Bistro local diner! A 5 minute walk just outside the neighborhood. A popular spot for breakfast!



Other Things to Note:

This is a house that has been uniquely remodeled into 3 private units. You will have other people possible being on a different floor. Just keep that in mind when booking. It is NOT the entire building structure to yourself.



We are open to having guests over to enjoy the deck space and visit family/friends. You will be responsible for your guests at all times and clean up after. Please communicate your guests visiting so we are all on the same page.

We are happy to point our guests in the right direction during your stay, please send us a message! We usually stop by the home weekly for check ups, we hope to meet you in passing!

Camping respite

We had been traveling and camping in BC, the Yukon and Alaska for several weeks and stayed here for a couple of days. Was a great break. Liked the location, not in the city but everything you needed was nearby. The space was nice, we did laundry and enjoyed the hot tub. Our pup liked having a bit more space to chase his ball and play tug. Great recommendation on Southside bistro - had an excellent meal there.

This place was awesome! It was very clean and inviting. It was the perfect place to unwind. It was just outside of town but very accessible to stores. The outside patio was just what we needed and we took full advantage. Carolyn was super kind and very helpful. The roof top lounge was the highlight. Loved the covered area with a fire to keep warm. The beds were comfortable and it was reasonably quiet. The neighborhood felt safe and the location is convenient to both Anchorage and sight seeing South of the city. The property manager was available, responsive and helpful. However, there were several issues that put a damper on our stay.The kitchen was ill equipped even for light cooking. The dishes were found dirty in the cupboards. One of the kitchen sink drains was clogged. The consumables in the house were just barely stocked so that if we used anything we would need to purchase a replacement (e.g. three zip-lock bags total, one backup roll of toilet paper, about a tablespoon of dish soap left in the bottle) . We had issues with the internet and hot tub. This property has a lot of potential but needs improving.
