Beautiful country home with a plunge pool, 4.50 x 1.7 m, where you can enjoy a cool drink in the summer heat.
The house is tucked away in the mountains. You can retreat from the stresses of everyday life here and enjoy a relaxing holiday.
The village Andratx with an outstanding infrastructure, the exclusive marina of Puerto de Andratx, the artists' village S`Arraco, beaches in Sant Elm, Camp de Mar, Palma de Mallorca and of course the airport are near.
To make your stay as pleasant as possible, we give you a bottle of wine as a welcome. We also provide plenty of towels, beach towels, linens, hair dryer, iron, kettle, fully equipped kitchen, electric barbecue, outdoor shower and Internet.

We had a very pleasant stay at this lovely house. The kitchen was very well equipped, the location was peaceful and quiet, and the garden area with sun loungers and the plunge pool was perfect for relaxing.In the evenings, it was great fun to play billiards and listen to music from the vinyl collection. Communication with the owner was excellent — Gisela gave us several very practical tips after our arrival, and we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and some essentials that allowed us to prepare a late dinner after the trip.We spent a wonderful few days there. The location also offers easy access to the GR 221 trail and is a great starting point for hiking trips to Sant Elm, Port d’Andratx, Estellencs, and Banyalbufar.A small tip for future guests: if you are renting a car, it is definitely better to choose a smaller one, as the access road is very narrow and winding.

Real Mallorcan country hideaway

We had a very relaxing stay at Gisela's little guest house. The accommodation is larger than you would believe from the photographs and the little plunge pool is just perfect for sitting in with a glass or two. Gisela was very welcoming despite our lateness due to a delayed flight, kindly changed our towels during our stay when we requested.The drive up to the house is a real challenge the first few times but it certainly shouldnt discourage you if you are a confident driver from staying here. You are definitely in the country side so do expect, mosquitoes (Gisela provides ample pug in devices) wall lizards and plenty of ants. The beach at Saint Elm (15 minutes by car) is beautiful with sand under the shallow water for a long way out, perfect for snorkelling, swimming or simply cooling off. The port at Andrax is great for a evening meal or breakfast. The accommodation has a good sized fridge and freezer if you prefer to self cater but the oven is a small table top one with only one tray for cooking on. Overall a very lovely little place to relax and unwind in. Thank you Gisela for a wonderful stay, we hope to return next year.

We had a lovely short stay at this finca, it had everything we needed. We would recommend but the road to the finca is very narrow and hilly so take care! Gisela was available to help if needed.

Mountain retreat

Great host. Responsive and helpful. Cabin has all the basics. 10 minutes from town and 20 to the beach. Very narrow roads up the mountain and in the town of Andraitx, so keep that in mind when renting a vehicle. Be comfortable with tight turns. Cabin is a nice space. Bedroom, leads to bathroom that leads to a living/kitchen area. There's a separate room with a pool table. This faces the small pool in the outdoor area. Comfortable for a few days. It is really in the middle of the mountains, so bring mosquito repellent if planning to lounge in the patio.

We loved our stay!

We had a short stay of only 4 nights but it was so lovely! Gisela is very responsive and friendly and we has great directions to get to the place. Make sure to have a small hire car as lots of windy bendy roads, but worth it! Very peaceful and quiet. You stay behind the hosts own home but you feel on your own. The property was very clean and had a great kitchen and bathroom and comfy bedroom with aircon. The plunge pool was lovely for a refresh and the outside area was very relaxing, make sure to pack some mosquito repellent if you are like me and find that you attract lots of them! Andratx town is a 10 minute drive away with a lovely plaza and lots of restaurants and two big supermarkets if you want to cook for yourself. The port is also very close and great for a morning stroll and coffee. We highly recommend sant elm, a lovely beach town with sunbeds to hire, showers, plenty of restaurants and swimming spots. We loved our stay so much and we're sad to leave! Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful home just a 20 minute walk from lovely village and 20 minute drive to beach with bars and shops. You need to hire a small car as roads are narrow and windy but well through it. We absolutely loved it here.

Wonderful secluded spot, everything we needed and more.

This is a beautiful, quiet location, hidden 5 mins out of Andratx town, on the hill side. Gisela was kind enough to stock the fridge with a few basics, as we were arriving on a Sunday, and most shops are closed. The whole place was spotlessly clean, and had all the facilities you could need, even providing coal and fire-lighters for the bbq. Plus the games room has a great record collection as well as the pool table. After showing us the property, we didnt see the owners at all - which was perfect as we were on our honeymoon! You would have to have your own car to stay here, and the last few kms is a fairly steep climb on a single track, but that is what gives it it's seclusion, so not meant as a complaint. We had sunshine from first thing in the morning till about 5pm (in late May), then a 10 min drive gets you into Andratx Port with cocktail bars and sea-front restaurants. What more could you want?! Thank you for having us, we'd be back in a heart beat. Rob and Alex

A wonderful retreat in the mountains

We needed a well hidden place to unwind for a week and this beautiful place did not disappoint. Gisela made us so welcome with all the little touches. If you are looking for an escape this is the perfect place!!! Warning you must have a car to reach! Sant Elm is well worth a visit and only 10 mins away. We will definately return! Thanks so much xx

Lo que me gustó:La casa es pequeñita pero tiene lo que necesitan una o dos personas y estaba limpia y bien equipada.Fuera de la casa, hay una tumbona y una especie de bañera grande para remojarse.La dueña de la casa es amable y la comunicación fue fluida.Lo que no me gustó:La carretera para llegar en zonas es muy estrecha y para acceder a la casa hay que maniobrar en una zona estrecha que da un poco de miedo.El papel de registro de entrada que me dio la dueña estaba íntegramente en alemán!!!!????Los dueños viven justo debajo y uno se los encuentra a todas horas, lo que quita sensación de privacidad. La sala de juegos olía a humedad y todo se veía un poco estropeado, además todos los libros estaban en alemán. Puede que tenga su público, pero en general, este sitio no es para mí.

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in der Finca auf Mallorca verbracht. Die Finca war sauber, ordentlich und wunderschön gelegen, abseits vom Trubel, was für eine entspannte und ruhige Atmosphäre sorgte. Der beeindruckende Blick auf die Berge hat unseren Aufenthalt besonders gemacht. Unsere Gastgeberin Gisela war sehr freundlich und stets erreichbar, falls wir Rückfragen hatten. Insgesamt haben wir uns äußerst wohl gefühlt und können diese Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, der die Schönheit und Ruhe der Insel genießen möchte.

Die Finca CAN JUAN war ein tolles Urlaubsziel! Es sieht wirklich alles genauso aus wie auf den Bildern und sie ist unfassbar schön ruhig gelegen. Durch ein funkgesteuertes Tor am Eingang der Finca hat man auch wirklich seine Privatsphäre. Die Gastgeberin Gisela hat uns persönlich empfangen und uns einmal herumgeführt. Ihr Sohn war ebenfalls dabei und hat die Klimaanlage kurzfristig “repariert” da die Fernbedienung den Geist aufgegeben hatte. Also absolut super - so schnell die Lösung gefunden zu haben! Die restliche Zeit hatten wir wundervolle Ruhe auf der Finca. Mit einem Fiat500C Mietwagen war die Auffahrt absolut kein Problem. In 5 Minuten ist man im Ort Andratx wo es Supermärkte (Eroski) und Restaurants gibt.

Après l'accès, il est vrai, un peu compliqué, routes étroites et très pentues, le gîte est parfait, pratique, très propre et très bien orienté, le soir on est au frais après une journée chaude et la piscine est fort appréciable.Très bon séjour et un accueil chaleureuxUn détail : un plateau de service serait bien venu pour le service sur la terrasseLa salle de billard est aussi un atout pour se détendre.La déco du gîte est très soignée Donc on recommande grandement cette location

Ein sehr schöner Urlaub

Aufgrund der vielen guten Bewertungen haben wir uns für diese Finca entschieden. Und ich muss sagen wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Von der Buchung bis zum Abschied war hier alles so, wie wir es uns erhofft hatten. Wir fühlten uns hier bestens aufgehoben. Eine kleine Empfehlung noch, am besten einen Mückenschutz einpacken, meine Frau wurde ein paar Mal gestochen, ich nicht . Also auch die Gerechtigkeit siegte an diesem wunderschönen Ort. Gerne kommen wir mal wieder...

Charmante Finca in den Bergen

Wir wurden sehr nett von Frau Schuischel empfangen. Da es schon spät war, hatte sie uns Nudeln mit Tomatensoße schon einmal hingestellt. Das war super nett von Ihr! Obwohl Frau Schuischel nur wenige Meter von der Finca entfernt wohnt, war man die ganze Zeit vollkommen ungestört. Fragen wurden per WhatsApp innerhalb kurzer Zeit beantwortet. Das kleine Häuschen war zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Wir haben uns fast nur draussen aufgehalten, da der Blick in den Garten und auf die Berge spektakulär ist. Die Unterkunft können wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!
