The room was very clean and staff friendly. Surrounding area was safe and there was convenient shopping nearby. Great access to the area and I-94. Breakfast was standard fare for this price range, with decent but not outstanding hot entrees available. Minor problems: the hair conditioner bottle in the shower was empty and the TV remote would not respond to my attempts to select a channel, indicating a certain lack of attention to details by the room service staff in my opinion, especially the empty conditioner bottle. In summary, the hotel offered what most hotels in this price range offer and was in a good location for a short stay in the area.

Understaffed and Unsafe

Arrived on a Thursday. Room was not cleaned or refreshed until the following Monday, despite multiple requests. The room was covered in ants throughout our stay, for which the front desk only offered us a bottle of Raid. We were told they were too understaffed to clean; if that is the case, they should not be operating. Worse, there was a huge, active leak in the ceiling above the pool (see photo). It took two days, talking to three employees and threatening to call OSHA for the pool to finally be closed. According to the front desk, this leak has been there for over a year and they have been repeatedly “patching over it” because there is “nobody who can come fix it.” If that is the safety standard of this hotel, I would caution anyone against staying here.
