The hotel is architecturally nice but not maintained. The hot tub wasn't operational. Carpet edging was missing or pulled away. The ice machines weren't working. There was water leaking from the roof and dripping into small buckets from the rain. The direct TV wasnt getting local channels but not a huge deal. However, The room was nice and I enjoyed the free breakfast.

Do not use advance check in

The hotel offered advance check in to save time on arrival where if you checked in in advance all you needed to do was pick up your keys. The person at the desk was not familiar or trained on this process. I arrived at midnight after a long day and it took them 20 minutes to figure it out and give me my keys. Then I finally get to the room and it is muggy with an AC unit that didn’t work properly, fun on the floor and a leaky tiny toilet. The bed was comfortable though.

Was not impressed with the facility. Ran out of food Sat and Sun, did not have coffee available through the day, had 16 channels of sports 6 of news no local news, no nbc, abc, cbs few other channels, internet bad, weak,had to pay for extra coffee for the room. Coffee pot broke Sunday. . Our first room the air conditioning would not stay on, put us in a new room same-thing happened, it needed to be reset. Staff was good place was clean, we were there for 3 days, nothing around the area to do. Would not stay there again.

Pretty good value. They offer the longest timeframe for breakfast I've experienced. Most places only allow for 2-3 hrs, they allow for 4. They send a text right away after check-in for communicating issues/questions. I did have a small issue, but I was never acknowledged, so the whole thing was moot. Don't bother with the text if you're not going to respond. Otherwise, good amenities in the room: fridge, microwave, iron, hair dryer, good tv shows

This hotel was the third Wyndham property I had stayed in in as many months. I stayed at the Baton Rouge hotel and Chula Vista in Wisconsin Dells. We stayed in the 2nd floor suite. All hotels needed a little TLC like new carpeting, a fresh coat of paint and maybe updating the rooms and bathroom fixtures.The Wyndham Garden was by far the worst!! 2 of the 3 air conditioners were not working on our arrival. One did get fixed but the air conditioner in the master bedroom did not work during our 3 night stay. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. The lighting was terrible, making our room dark and dreary at night. There was a floor electrical plug that was not secured properly and had bare wires showing, probably a huge code violation as well as fire hazard. The lobby was nice but the lighting was terrible there too. Light bulbs in the ceiling fixtures were burned out The staff was courteous and tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were given 2 fans to help with the air conditioning problem and the final result was a discounted price for the room. The pool was open, but the jacuzzi was still broken as complained about in other reviews. I'm not sure I'll be staying at another Wyndham property, especially if it has been given mediocre to bad reviews.

We are Wyndham members and I really thought the property wouldn't be as dated as it was. We had a 2 bedroom and the bathroom was extremely small. Not a place to dress with privacy from others with us. The staff was very nice and pleasant which is a plus.

plus: Price was cheaper than other hotels. close to downtown, ample parking, comfortable beds, quiet. Good breakfast; has a hotel bar. very friendly maid service. minus: dated facility, pool looked dirty, sauna not working. room small. Bathroom: tub didn't drain well (probably lots of hair in drain), bathroom TP fixture coming off the wall, holes in plaster in tub. Room: holes in lamp shades, some plugs didn't work. Hair dryer kept falling out of plug. Even my night light fell out of the plug. It was probably a beautiful hotel when first built but it has not been kept up.
