The staff was great and helpful. The room was fresh, clean and everything worked very well. The only thing I wish the room had was the ability to cast to the TV versus traditional stations so we did not use the TV for lack of streaming services.

We did not eat breakfast at the hotel-it was not included. I only tried to get coffee once and it was full of grounds. Most hotels have coffee and water out all day but there wasn't any available in the lobby in the afternoon or evening.

When we arrived, we found that our refrigerator was not plugged in. I guess this HGI was saving money on the electricity bill. So, we had to pull it out of the large wooden cabinet, plug it in and then replace it back in the cabinet. The TV in our room did not work and the hotel Engineer could not figure out how to get it to work. He offered to move us to another room but then explained that TV in that room also did not work. The sheets on the bed were too small and did not fit properly. The hotel had queen sheets on a king bed. The sheets pop off the corners. The front desk staff like to leave the front desk area and sit at a table in the breakfast area nearby and just be on their personal cell phones and eat their meals. This is just an okay hotel. I had previously worked at a HGI in Atlanta for 7 years. I really expected a higher standard at this HGI.

The facility itself was beautiful and well maintained. Parking was our biggest issue: We were in town for a race, and we needed to leave before 7:00 in the morning. Garage parking was full so we opted for valet.The valet parking attendant assured us that he would make sure our car would be pulled to the front facing out so that we could pull right out in the morning because there would not be an attendant when we needed our car. When we came down to get our vehicle it was parked in the very back of the lot and there was no attendant to get it out. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind, but he couldn’t do anything to help. No one would be in until 7:00 at the earliest. Luckily, we were able to get a ride there, but it was still quite the inconvenience because we had to return to the hotel to get our car. When it comes to the room the walls are very thin and you could hear everything inside and outside. We were on the third floor and could hear cars starting up outside the building. The room next door was very loud with a dog that barked off and on throughout the night. Next year, we will be staying elsewhere. It’s a shame because it is a nice facility and the staff was very nice, but communication seems to be an issue.
