Whilst I have given a good rating for our stay, there were a few hiccups. Strongly advise confirming by email directly with the hotel any special requests like special mobility needs, airport transfers and check in on arrival arrangements especially if you are arriving between midnight and 6am.

I loved my stay however there were a couple of times where I was sleeping and woke up in a startle as staff in the even would enter after no answer to their knock on the door as they opened the door whilst I was inappropriately dressed. It was lucky I had the door latch on. Perhaps leave the complimentary items at the door instead of no answer.

Whilst Taumeasina is so modern and has beautiful facilities, for the price of the stay the rooms are very small

In addition to this, Taumeasina Island Resort has a gym, spa, nightly entertainment and recreational activities whereby all are in one. Also, town is only 10mins away. Trust this justifies the price. 2 bedroom apartment has everything you need including washing machine & dryer. Would be nice if the swimming pool was 24hrs.
