Blue Lake Villa: luxury in all respects

Our family of 6 adults have just enjoyed a perfect stay at (owner) Polymnia's Lake Kournas villa Blue Lake Villa is wonderful: The generous sized upper en suite bedroom with private sun terrace overlooking the lake was comfortable, clean and spacious. The other two double bedrooms and bathroom were large and well equipped. The kitchen and outside BBQ area had everything that we needed. We enjoyed the local restaurants: Taverna Atithis and Georgia's are both within walking distance and are worth a visit. The nearby supermarket and butchers (10 min drive) are well stocked, so we also enjoyed using the outdoor kitchen and BBQ. The front sun terrace allowed our family to make the most of the stunning views of Lake Kournas, whilst others enjoyed the pool area with views over the olive groves and mountains. The neighbours are very quiet and it is a perfectly peaceful home to have as a base whilst visiting nearby places of interest/larger towns, all within 30 min drive. It was also ideal to have activities, restaurants, gift shops at the lake within walking distance. Polymnia was a wonderfully helpful, happy and generous host! The many traditional homebaked cakes she made for us during our stay meant so much. Polymnia and her family went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable holiday. The experience of staying here exceeded our expectations and it was a joy to have met such a wonderful, kind family who genuinely care about their guests. We will be back!
