THE VILLA
The 170 m² villa consists of 2 floors and can accommodate up to 8 people. On the ground floor level there are 4 bedrooms each with their own bathroom and balcony. On the first floor there is a spacious living room, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The private swimming pool is chemical free and has got a shallow area for kids.

LOCATION

The villa is located in a natural and tranquil area, 140m far from the beach and only 1 km far from the village of Kalyves and Almyrida. Its privileged location provides privacy and tranquillity and at the same time quick access to areas where you can find supermarkets, shops, restaurants cafes and traditional taverns. Located between the towns of Chania and Rethymnon, it gives our guests the opportunity to visit quite a few places in the wider area such as traditional villages, beaches and historical sites.

BEDROOMS

On the ground floor there are 4 bedrooms, each with two single beds and one of them with a double bed. Mattresses and pillows are hypoallergenic. All bedrooms are air conditioned, have their own bathroom with shower, satelite TV, wardrobe and safe. Each one of them has a balcony with table and chairs.

INTERIOR

The villa combines a modern architectural design with natural and classic elements like stone and wood. It consists of two floors connected to each other by an external stairway. The huge glass partition on the first floor offers great panoramic views of the surrounding valley, mountains and ocean.

EXTERIOR

Surrounded by acres of land where fig, olive and lemon trees grow you will find a calm and beautiful environment to relax. The swimming pool is eco and skin-friendly without chlorine or any other chemicals. The sterilisation process is done in a natural way, using just salt. In that way it is always clean, healthy and safe for you and your kids to swim. The option of heating the pool in spring and autumn is available. The shaded and non-shaded living areas around it encourage our guests to spend most of their day outdoors where they can enjoy a refreshing plunge in the pool, relax on the comfy loungers and have BBQ.

SERVICES

Cleaning service is provided once a week. Linen and towels are included.

UPON REQUEST

Heated pool is available for the months of April, May, September and October with an extra cost of 300 euro per week.

Tranquility by the sea

This is a magical, peaceful location between olive groves and the sea. The house is immaculate and the pool sparkles. We also appreciated being close to towns for restaurants and shops. The location lends itself to further exploration of the island with a car and motivation. The host is responsive and delightful. We would go back in an instant.

Fantastic host, fantastic villa !

From the outset of booking the villa Vasiliki proved to be an exceptional host. Her communication was brilliant with clear instructions of everything. She was extremely helpful and researched restaurants that are gluten aware (I am celiac), and the best supermarkets to find products that I would otherwise not have found. The villa is just as it is in the photos. The living area and views have the wow factor. The bedrooms downstairs have the bonus of keeping cooler than upstairs but there is plenty of air conditioning throughout anyway. The villa was spotlessly clean and as good as new. The villa is situated in a quiet area with busier areas that aren’t far away and the journey from the airport is easy. The information given in the villa description is accurate.

Wonderful Stay!

Our family had a fantastic three-night stay in this beautiful villa. Prior to the visit, the host was communicative and helpful. The villa was spacious and in a beautiful area surrounded by olive trees, a view of the ocean, and views of the mountains. Since we were visiting in April, we paid to have the pool heated, which was well worth the expense, as our kids loved swimming every day. We will most definitely come back again in the future!!

Perfect Kera Green

The Villa is set in a beautiful valley, full of olive groves and with wonderful views of the sea and the mountains. We were a group of six adults and the Villa had everything we needed and more, lovely clean pool, good communal space and enough space to do your own thing. Great location between two villages with great tavernas, bars, beaches and supermarkets. also good for getting out further afield. We had a great time and Vasiliki is a superb host.

Fantastic stay in Crete!

Just returned home from a week at Kera Green villa. It was a beautiful home, just as the pictures describe. It is in a wonderful location, in a quite village with magnificent views and a small beach nearby but you are also just a few minutes by car to town with shops and restaurants. The pool is awesome and the house is modern and comfortable. The owner, Vasiliki, is so kind and helpful and showed us warm hospitality during our stay. Fantastic home base for our visit to the lovely island of Crete!

Best villa ever!

Wow! Just got back from our first time in Crete and it certainly won’t be our last! The host was incredible and so attentive from booking to the moment of our departure. Nothing was too much trouble. Always there to give advice and help out. The villa itself was stunning. The steep walk to Kalyves got easier and we always had a taxi back. Almyrida was such a lovely town too and Chania - amazing! The pool is so much bigger than it look on the photos and was always warm and clean. The host, the cleaner, the pool man were all lovely. I cannot praise them enough!

Fantastic villa and host

We stayed here for a week with a group of 7. Consisting of myself, husband, 3 boys, ages ranging between 16-23 plus two of my sons partners. All of us, would highly recommend this villa. It had everything you needed, with stunning views, privacy and a gorgeous pool, which is bigger than it looks in the photos. Enjoyed going into Kalyves. Which is a 10/15 minute hilly walk, which we did many times but sometimes cheated and got a taxi back which was never more than 10 Euros for a minibus and easy to get. Loved Mistrali bar/restaurant. Such good value and good food with the most welcoming people. But mainly the host Vasiliki was so kind and friendly. Always ready to help with any questions and was very informative. Thank you. We would love to come back.

Idyllic well located villa

Can’t fault this Villa, we had a wonderful week relaxing here. Vasiliki is a lovely friendly host, ready to welcome us on arrival and always happy to answer any questions during our stay. Well equipped and super clean, plenty of towels, comfortable beds. The view from the open plan lounge/dining/ kitchen area on the first floor is just incredible, with the option of sliding all the doors back to even more stunning effect! The pool is fabulous, being salt water it’s skin and swimwear friendly and was super clean and the perfect temperature. 10/10 holiday villa! Can’t wait to go back.

The most wonderful week away!

We stayed at Kerra Green Villa to celebrate my mum’s 60th birthday, our two daughters 4 & 1 stayed with us too. The villa is absolutely stunning and we could not fault a single thing about our stay. The villa is situated in a picturesque area between Kalyves and Almridiya, which both have beautiful beaches and lots of bars and restaurants. AThe villa has a beach just a stone throw away too. The owners of the villa couldn’t do enough to make us at home and even went out and got champagne as a favour to me! The views are stunning, the pool is perfect and the house is spotless. You must book a stay here!!

Memories for a lifetime

My husband and I rented this magnificent villa for a month with our 5 month old daughter. We had friends and family members come stay with us for a few days at a time and were looking for a home away from home in Crete to relax and explore this beautiful island. Everything about our stay at the villa has been simply perfect. First of all it was easy getting there and Vasiliki was a fantastic host all throughout our stay, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She provided useful insights about places to visit and was responsive and kind. The house was spotless, the pool as stunning as in the pictures and how about that view!! You can see the mountains in the background, the sea and the beautiful lush green surroundings of the area. The location was ideal, between two small villages with the beautiful quiet Kera beach a few steps from the house. Both nearby villages have supermarkets and pharmacies, and we enjoyed getting fresh fish, meats and other local products from Kalyves. The location was also great for visiting, being near Chania, as we were close enough to see a great number of spots even at the south of the island and thats with a baby! We were able to go to dinner to Chania and drive back at night, we felt very safe on the road. I could go on and on about this place, it was simply magical and allowed us to make memories that will last a lifetime. You can stop searching, rent this place, you will be happy you did.

Fantastic house and better hosts

We stayed in Kera Green villa for 1 week and enjoyed the stay very much. It was easy to find and in a great location for us, in the countryside but still only 10 minutes do the next town. Vasiliki and Manolis were great. Very quick to reply from the start and reply to our questions before we arrived and very quick also during the stay. The house was exactly as advertised. The rooms were spacious and all with en suite bathrooms. The kitchen and living room on the 2nd floor were also very nice with a fantastic view. The swimming pool was also quite big with a shallow "childrens" pool in one end. Would highly recommend and will stay again if we will return to Crete. Thank you Vasiliki and Manolis for your hospitality.

Just returned from a two week stay at Kera Green Villa - it was truly wonderful! A party of 8 (two families with teenagers/children). The Villa couldn’t be better equipped. Perfect pool area. Bedrooms all en-suite & super comfy! The Villa itself has everything you need & attention to detail is just phenomenal. The location is also a big bonus. Kera beach is a stones throw away & Kalyves a 15 minute walk. The views are second to none! We can’t wait to return! Vasiliki & Manolis the owners are on hand constantly and cannot do enough to help! It’s a stunning property in a stunning location & we definitely didn’t want to leave!

Highly recommend: wonderful!

We had a wonderful time at Kera Green Villa. It is a beautiful, spacious villa that is well located and well equipped. On top of that, we enjoyed great contact with Vasiliki and her family. We highly recommend the villa and hope ourselves to stay again it the future. For the location: the walk into Kalyves was less than 1 km and took us just under 15 minutes (up a relatively steep track and down a steep backstreet on the other side). Almyrida was a little further. The villa is located in a quiet area, with only the distance sound of the waves and the family’s poultry clucking. There is very little road noise and no dogs barking (something we heard in another property we rented in Crete in the past). Finally on the location, it is a very short walk to the sea to swim (rocky beach). So top marks for location! For the villa: The photos are representative and we loved it! Despite good restaurants within walking distance in Kalyves and Almyrida, we spent several evenings in the property as the kitchen was well equipped and the views from the top floor where the dining area and lounge are good. We also connected our Netflix account to the TV to watch a film or two. There are also table and chairs by the pool so we had lunch there – the pool and bedrooms on the ground floor are connected to the kitchen/dining/lounge upstairs by an outdoors staircase. The pool is surrounded by olive trees, and pretty private with a deep side and a shallow side for children. The rental cost includes a cleaning fee: and indeed the property was regularly cleaned to a good standard, and the sheets and towels changed if you like. Vasiliki has prepared an excellent booklet of what you can see and do on Crete. We like being by the sea, so did easy day trips to Falassarna, Loutro (via Chora Skafia), Marathi and Stavros on the Akrotiri (we liked the beaches here – 40 minute drive), Chania, Rethymno, Balos Bay (from Kissamos). We’d visited Paleochora and Elafonisi last time but could have done these again in a day as well. Finally, Vasiliki and her family members were very hospital and helpful. They were close by so readily available (for example regularly checking the pool water quality) yet were discreet and gave us our privacy. A big thank you Vasiliki!

Amazing Villa!

We have just returned from an amazing holiday and stay at Kera Green Villa, the photos are just as it is in real life, a stunning modern villa suitable for a large family (or 2 families as we did) The villa is equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The upstairs space is all open plan and offers a comfortable sofa area with a modern TV (netflix and internet available) and stunning views across Kera Beach from the balcony. The bedrooms all have private bathrooms and air conditioning, the beds are comfortable and furnishing throughout the property is immaculate. The villa is in a quiet and private location situated in between 2 beautiful resorts within 20 minutes walk in each direction (Kalyves and Almyrida) There is a short cut from the villa avoiding the main road into Kalyves which we discovered on day 2. The nearest supermarkets are in either Kalyves or Almyrida. Taxi's from each resort if you do not want to walk back after a meal out are approx 10 euros for a car. Kera Beach is quite small - but private. Both Kalyves and Almyrida beach have sunbeds and bars and tavernas stretched along the beach. The owners of the property were very helpful and communication was excellent responding quickly to any questions. All in all an amazing holiday in Crete made all the better by choosing this beautiful villa!

Wie im Paradies!

Wir haben zu fünft 8 Tage in der Villa verbracht und waren begeistert. Das Haus ist perfekt für Selbstversorger ausgestattet und bietet einen fantastischen Ausblick über Olivenbäume, Berge und Meer. Es gibt in der Nähe zwei Dörfer mit vielen Restaurants, welche gut zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Zum fast privaten Strand sind es 5 Gehminuten. Die Gastgeberin Vasiliki war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Villa wärmstens empfehlen!
