My grandfather’s house from the 1930s, w/the plane tree in front & orange trees in back, was renovated with love & respect following traditional Cretan architecture. Located in Kalyves, a seaside village just 20 min from the historic port city of Chania & 40 min from Rethymno, it is conveniently positioned as a starting point for excursions. It's only a 5-min drive from a blue flag awarded beach, with many nearby hiking-cycling trails to explore the surrounding countryside, villages, & outdoors.
