The Vline bus from Geelong to Apollo Bay includes a stop at Skenes Creek. Marengo is about a 25 minute walk or short taxi ride from the centre of town. Hordern Vale is a bit further along the Great Ocean Road and easier to access by car. It is possible to get there via tax also. The Apollo Bay Taxi is also available on 0400 229 222

Apollo Bay beach within a short walk
Apollo bay has a beautiful beach and the property is just a short walk away. Groceries can be found right next to the property that has convenient onsite parking. There are two other huts annexed to this one. Athough we had the middle hut, we were not disturbed by the others.
Sue was easy to reach, and when we broke one glass she handled it professionally.
Overall a pretty good stop on one’s great ocean drive!
