Family Cottage in the heart of woodlands sleeping 7 in 3 bedrooms plus zed bed

The Chauffeur's Cottage is a lovely spacious cottage with tranquil views -it was graded 4* by visit Scotland and all three bedrooms have en-suite or private bathrooms and there is a downstairs WC as well. It is situated about 4 miles from Arbroath on the sunny east coast of Scotland . It is a great place for family holidays with its large yet cosy sitting room with plenty of comfortable seating for everyone and a log burning stove. Outside is a private terrace with outdoor seating and BBQ with path directly into Kinblethmont woodlands.
The cottage is in the heart of the idyllic Kinblethmont Estate surrounded by woodland filled with birdsong. On the estate a few minutes walk away is the huge walled garden play area with play equipment, table tennis, badminton, volleyball and football area. There are several walks on the estate with lovely views from the top of Kinblethmont hill.

There is plenty to do in the local area with golf courses, sandy beaches, cliff walks birdwatching, fishing, horseriding, historic sights and tourist attractions. In less than an hour you can get to castles, distilleries , hill walking and more so you will always have something interesting to do. The hosts provide plenty of local information and are happy to answer any questions.


The Chauffuer's cottage sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms - A double with en-suite shower room and 2 twins (which can be made into doubles) there are 2 extra bathrooms. We can also provide a zed bed to sleep an extra child.

It can be joined to the neighbouring Studio which has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms to give a large holiday house sleeping 10.
