VUMBA – The Bue-Maria Suite
The renovation of the old winery gave birth to two beautiful independent suites (Bue Maria and Gorongosa) and a leisure area (Sala da Adega). Another independent and stylish suite located next to the Winery, named after the family’s Mozambican heritage, and also consisting of a good sized bedroom and a bathroom. Both the Bue Maria and the Gorongosa suites share a large and elegant guest area including a lounge with dining-room and kitchen.
Vumba's property is divided into 2 cozy guesthouses (The Alembic and The House of the Lizard) and 8 stylish suites (The Bue Maria, The Gorongoza, Beira and the Macuti Flats). All guesthouses have access to a large swimming pool surrounded by a lush garden. All of our houses have fully equipped kitchens where you can cook your meals, including breakfast, and there are two small supermarkets in the village where you will find most of the basic ingredients. Also in the village and 5 minutes walk from Vumba we have The Churrasqueira with homemade and tasty take-away food.
