Holiday Home 'Il Mulino di Marina' with Terraces, Barbecue, and River View

Located in the historic center of Argegno, this charming holiday home offers a unique atmosphere where water, history, and nature meet. The property features two terraces and a small courtyard, with partial views of Lake Como and, above all, the picturesque Telo River. The gentle sound of the river creates a relaxing environment.



The apartment is set in a historic 19th-century building, fully renovated in 2015, preserving the charm of a medieval village house. It accommodates up to 6 guests and includes a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms (each with a double bed and a single bed), 2 bathrooms, and an additional toilet. Amenities include Wi-Fi, TV, fans, a baby cot, and a high chair. Pets are allowed for an extra fee. Please note, there is no air conditioning.



Outside, you can enjoy a private terrace overlooking the river, accessible from outside the house—perfect for relaxing to the sound of the water or for al fresco dining with the barbecue grill.



The location is ideal for exploring the village on foot: restaurants and bars are just steps away, and the nearest supermarket is about a 10-minute drive. Argegno is a great starting point for visiting famous lakeside villas such as Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo and Villa del Balbianello in Lenno, or for taking boat trips to Bellagio, Menaggio, and Varenna. The village also offers a pebble beach, weekly markets, and a cable car to Pigra, a scenic mountain village in the Valle d’Intelvi.

Perfect location

Lovely location and a characterful property. A bottle of wine and coffee pods to welcome us. Bedrooms were fine but living accommodation was quite basic. We would ideally have liked more cooking facilities. Marina was very pleasant and happy to give advice about the area.

Everything necessary for a comfortable stay is there in this renovated 300 yr old house in the original, quiet, part of argegno.and, due to the thermal mass of the ancient walls, this should be a good choice for the hot months. Even better than the house, was the owner, who was instantly accessible by phone ans and booked for us highly professional airport transfers.
