It's a nature photographer's dream out here, with hundreds of hiking trails, small lakes, mountain biking, and golfing. In the winter, skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling are the perfect powder-time activities. Enjoy an array of local cuisine, entertainment, and family-friendly attractions in the nearby town, including museums and wine tours. Relax in the neighborhood pool or play a few rounds of volleyball in the sand pit.



Inside you'll find a bright interior with an open, airy concept and a vaulted ceiling. With the open floor plan, the living area, dining area, and kitchen are all adjacent, so no one will miss out on the conversation. Gather around the wood-burning stove on comfortable furniture and have a movie night or Netflix marathon. Challenge your loved ones to a board game or dine on a grand meal at the dining table. This home was as described and very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised with the extra loft area with a bed and futon - which means I can plan a future girls trip here.The location was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet and very walkable, and very close to restaurants, and to Calaveras Big Trees. We also enjoyed the proximity to Murphys. The deck was perfect for a relaxing afternoon after a hike, and the fireplace gave a cozy atmosphere to evening reading.We were missing a couple of items. We had brought coffee in anticipation of needing that, but were surprised that filters were not provided. There was also a Keurig type coffee maker, but no pods. The salt was missing, and there were two pepper shakers which is likely an oversight. David was super responsive - within minutes - and the filter issue was resolved, and we were provided with a bag of coffee pods. I didn't mention the salt because we didn't really need it on this trip, but I would have liked it if I had time to cook something there.I would like to return to the area in the future, and I would definitely stay here again.
