The room was clean. The location is great as well near small shops and plenty of cafés and restaurants. The gentleman at the front desk perhaps could use help. It was often without anyone, and frankly he got my stay messed up. He understood at check in that I had reserved 2 nights even though they were made separately. He was able to leave us in the same room however the room was not made and when asked he suggested it was my fault for making 2 reservations. The ladies at the front desk were very amiable. Not having someone present at the front desk is not good. Also, checking on the guests that go to the rooftop might be wise. I overheard some expressing the desire to jump up and down while I was in it. Clearly there were some very young intoxicated guests.

We loved this very cool hotel! The building is full of history yet everything is brand new inside. Our room was gorgeous and felt very high end. We enjoyed the roof top bar and the speak easy in the boiler room! Great place to stay downtown as you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. Wish we could’ve stayed more than one night!!

Best Asheville Hotel!

What an awesome hotel! Everything was perfect from the check in experience to the comfort of the room (oh my, those linens were divine), to the adjoining restaurant to check out! Staff was also amazing!

Such a cool place. Staff went above and beyond and had the best attitudes. Requested soap and had two knocks on the door within 3 minutes. Housekeeping and then the nice lady at the front desk brought some as well. The downstairs speakeasy makes me realize how cool I am not and the coffee on the roof is pretty awesome too. Loved it.
