Hotel overall was great..but one huge issue is the noise coming from the streets. You name it..souped up cars/ bikes, street musicians, emergency services, dogs..from 6th floor we could hear as if it was outside our door. I realize not hotels fault..But I would advise if you’re planning on staying be aware it’s a small town with big city noise.

We loved the Kimpton! The location was wonderful….we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Staff was great and they offered complimentary beverages when we checked in. Loved the hotel but disappointed in the room I was given. I specifically asked for a quiet room and the guy at the desk assured me he was giving me a very special room. It was right next to the elevator and it was on the same floor where 20-25 people having a family reunion were staying! Noisy!!!

I very highly recommend the kimpton for your stay in Asheville. The location is perfect for walking to all the breweries. The staff are incredible so friendly and helpful with any suggestions or meeting your needs. The room is so comfortable. Honestly nothing but amazing things to say. From the moment I walked in the door, I was treated like an important guest. Happy hour on the house, the offer of a coffee maker, and the free forgotten toiletries set this property apart. We will return!

Beautiful and windy March weekend in Asheville

When it comes to hotels, I have never had a less-than-stellar experience at a Kimpton. This is our third stay at Asheville's Kimpton Arras, and -- as usual -- it did not disappoint. It's location is precisely the center of downtown, making it an ideal place to stay in the city, and the valet service is second-to-none, always quickly and kindly taking care of any vehicle retrieval that is needed. The room is lovely, and it was probably the most affordable one in the building. You can't go wrong, with any room you book, at the Kimpton. We'll be back!
