All great except they aren’t clear that to use the spa you have to buy a day pass (totally booked even on a Monday) or book a treatment- being a hotel guest isn’t enough even for even use of the pools/hot tub. And the woman at the spa desk was very rude explaining this. It doesn’t even say it on the welcome brochure where it touts the spa. This soured my stay as all I wanted to do was read a book in the hot tub for a couple hours before I checked out.

First parking is too far from the intrance plus they charge yoy $30 a day to park over $450 per a night. The rooms very small the mattresses too small and very old. When you stay they only to sleep you pay $450 a night anything else you have to pay. Looks nice and quite but not worth it

We have visited multiple times and we do because it’s historic, charming and relaxing. The view from the terrace is second to none, Edison lunch was very good and service was great. GPI is always on our list of favorites.

We parked outside in handicap space (husband is handicap) & they still charge $30/nt!! Cocktail prices could come down a bit! Shower set-up definitely not my fave with getting wet when you turn water on to get it hot! Appreciated all the dining/bar choices tho & the dueling pianos fun for a nt. Maybe have a magician/illusionist on the other weekend nt. We had our room temp set to 64 and only get down to 67 finally after 2 days, so was not the coolest temps we wanted (hovering around 69-70).

Pure joy

This is my absolute favorite hotel in Asheville. The location, scenery, and staff never disappoint. I will return.
