This newly renovated, fully furnished apartment features two bedrooms with a queen bed in each one, a spacious and cosy living room, a dining area, a brand new bathroom, a WC and a fully-equipped kitchen.
The apartment can accommodate comfortably up to 4 persons.

The apartment is in Plaka, an old historic neighborhood in Athens between Syntagma and Monastiraki Squares. It's clustered around the northern and eastern slopes of the Acropolis, incorporating labyrinthine streets and neoclassical architecture.

Metro / Underground is the most convenient mean of transit for the location. Syntagma Station is only a 5 min walk away (400m), from where you have access to Lines 2 and 3 (the 2 Metro lines of the city).
All Public transport (Bus and Tram) is also easily accessible from the location within 5 min walk.

Great location

The location was wonderful! Everything was walkable, felt very safe at all times. Has an elevator which is a plus! Bathrooms were small and we the front door was difficult to open but communication was great!

Property was a 10+. The listing does mention a hot tub - and there is NO hot tub so I suggest you remove that from the listing on vrbo.

Excellent Location and Clean

This apartment was well-appointed. The location could not be beat - walking distance to the Acropolis, main pedestrian shopping, cafes - just a great location. The balconies in each room added a special charm and we took advantage of the breeze at night. We were very comfortable. Please note that it's not really 2 full bathrooms, it's actually 1 full, 1 half and they are tiny bathrooms.

Terrific stay in Athens

This was my 20th visit to Athens and I couldn’t be happier with the location of this property, close to the metro from the airport and in the heart of shopping, restaurants, and more. Air conditioning worked very well and the kitchen had all we needed for our stay. I wish the beds were a little firmer, but that’s my personal preference, and the shower didn’t drain well so I reported this issue to the property manager. Having two bedrooms was fantastic, and each had balcony access and special, automatic shutters to block light. The front balcony was delightful in the evenings. The hallway of the building was dingy and could use cleaning and painting, but the apartment was very clean and modern, unlike the hallways. The elevator is small and made for double trips up and down with kids and stroller, not to mention suitcases, but it wasn’t much of an inconvenience. I loved that there was an organic supermarket half a block away, a pharmacy, hair salon, restaurants, and more all right there, plus the heart of Ermou, Syntagma, and Plaka were just blocks away. Location can’t be beat.

Best to Avoid

Let me start with the good: the property is located in the best part of Plaka with easy access to groceries, restaurants, attractions, parks and transportation. Everything is walkable from here. Now the issues: The property is NOT as advertised. It is listed as two full baths and even shows the showerheads in the two baths. There is only one bathroom with shower. The second is a 3x4 ft space with toilet and sink. The showerhead is just for show (no it can't be used as a bidet). Next, we had checked with the owner before booking that the apartment would have a microwave. The owner even sent us a picture, but alas there was no microwave in the unit. We even requested one again but none was provided. The kitchen didn't even provide a scrub for dishes, and the bathrooms had only one soap so we had to run out to buy soap. Also, there is no water filter for drinking water. The owner has given the apartment to a management company who is probably cutting corners. There were two coffee pods and one bottle of water when we arrived. Other lovely features include hot shower lasting only 10 minutes, requiring us to hit the heating button over an over, and the incredibly thin walls that made it seem the neighbor's dog was barking in our apartment. Last, the couch in the living room was so dusty that it was hard to sit on it and breathe. There are much better options at the same price in the same location. We reviewed one here so take a look. Rent at your own risk.
