Your trip to the Hocking Hills just got a little more exciting! Not only is The Legacy at Harble Ridge located just minutes away from some of the most popular hiking destinations in the Hocking Hills but it is packed with everything you will need for a getaway you'll never forget.

Layout of The Legacy -

Main Level:

You will enter The Legacy from the driveway with ample parking space and a handicap accessible front door. You will be welcomed into the living room with a gas fireplace and a 65" TV. As you explore your new accommodations you will find a dining area with convenient seating including 6 chairs and a large bench perfect for both adults and little ones.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to feel just like home, including granite countertops, full size appliances and all of the amenities you'll need for your stay.

Just off the kitchen is a bunk room just for the kids in the group. Four twin beds make this cozy spot a favorite for all the little ones in your group.

The main floor also includes two king bedrooms, both with a full en suite bathroom. Each bedroom also includes a twin murphy bed. One bedroom includes a handicap accessible bathroom, with a step in shower and grab bars for the toilet and shower. Both bedrooms are located along the back of the property with sliding doors onto the back deck. You will feel like you are sleeping in a treehouse and your views will be spectacular as they change with nature throughout the day.

The back deck runs the entire length of the house, as you step outside the views will take your breath away and you will want to sit and relax in one of our rocking chairs to take in the peace and quiet of this location. The upper deck also includes a gas grill, dining table with seating for 8 and a kid's picnic table - outdoor dining for everyone!

Lower Level:

This is where the fun really begins! This cabin is all about having fun and a little friendly competition too. With a shuffle board table, Arcade Legends 3 video game, and a full size Skee-Ball you won't have any trouble finding something to do. We also have a full size, arcade style claw machine which will provide hours of fun! The lower level also has a large lounge area with a 65" TV, a large DVD collection, and a large table for board games or playing cards. You will also find our final king bedroom with a set of twin XL bunk beds and a full en suite bathroom that is shared with the basement.

The back wall of the lower level is lined with windows and sliding doors that lead directly out to the lower level patio. As you head outside you will be in awe of the amazing views out into the beautiful scenery of Hocking Hills. There is a large seating area a comfy single person swing, as well as a relaxing hot tub that seats 8. The patio is fully covered and can easily be enjoyed rain or shine.

Exterior:

Both the upper and lower decks offer a great deal of outdoor space to explore. You will also be welcomed to your cabin's personal fire pit, perfect for s'mores and quality time with friends and family.

The Legacy is surrounded by 40 acres of privately-owned wooded land for you to enjoy and explore along with miles of maintained trails, and a private pond fully stocked with various fish for catch and release fun during your stay. You will also have accesss to Superhero park, a natural playground that will entertain kids for hours while adults relax at a picnic table or with a game of horse shoes. This playground is privately owned and for Harble Ridge guests only.

Please note - The Legacy at Harble Ridge shares our 40 acre property with 3 other cabins so we do ask that all guests observe quiet hours from 11:00pm to 8:00am to ensure the peaceful enjoyment of all guests at Harble Ridge. The minimum age to rent The Legacy at Harble Ridge is 25 years old. There are additional guest fees for groups over 8 people. We do have one camera on the property driveway for security purposes. A rental agreement and age verification are required before arrival.

Great Property

We came with 6 kids and 6 adults and the place was perfect! Very clean and organized and had signs on every switch to tell you what it did. The play ground was great and a nice fun walk to get there. We had all the amenities we needed and more. Close to hiking trails. We will for sure be back again!

Great Cabin

We had a great time at the cabin and loved the whole property. Only issues we ran into was very intermittent internet (which was needed for work) as well as hot tub temperature challenges. The cabin itself was super clean and smartly designed. We brought our kids who really enjoyed the arcade.

Get Family Vacation place

We loved the Legacy cabin. It seemed like the owners thought of everything they wish they had when they rented a cabin and made sure they included it in the Legacy. I loved how everything was labeled with instructions, including which switch went with which light. We had 3 younger kids with us and they loved the cabin and the secret playground. We enjoyed hiking in Hocking Hills Park and canoeing in Logan Lake. We all gave the cabin a thumbs up.

Old Mans Cave Area

The cabin was very nice. Beautiful deck that was very much used as the weather was very comfortable to sit outside. Very happy to notice the lack of insects(mosquitoes) as we sat outside. Surrounded by woods you would have thought there would of been more bugs. Close to the state parks and the kids loved the ice cream shop not to far away, I believe it was called Old Mans Cave General Store. All in all it was a great family vacation. Thank you.

Perfect for our family of 8!

This cabin was just perfect for us! It's a bit deceiving when you pull up as it looks small from the outside, but it's much bigger inside. It was very comfortable for our family of 8. The kids loved the games downstairs and we all enjoyed the hot tub. The inside was clean and well furnished. Everything worked well such as TV's, door locks, doors, etc. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need to prepare meals. Plenty of towels supplied for the hot tub. We could have used a few more hand towels for the bathrooms but really, the house was so well stocked with everything else, that was a minor detail. Firewood (for a small fee) was available right by our cabin so we didn't have to go anywhere to find some. We enjoyed the fire pit area every night. All the outside furniture is very nice and comfortable. From the fire pit area is a trail that leads to a playground and the kids had a blast there. We hiked that multiple times daily. All in all, it was a wonderful place to stay and we had a great time hiking in Hocking Hills. We hiked Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave and Rock House. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to stay. We hope to return soon!

Outstanding Accommodations for all ages!!

ā€œThe Legacyā€ at Harble Ridge provides an outstanding vacation experience from the time you walk in the door. With an electronic guide book and convenient labels and instructions for all key amenities, the property managers truly thought of every detail. The young kids in our group loved the natural playground and downstairs games (especially Skee-Ball) and for the adults there was a lot of great space to sit out on the covered balcony or around the fire to enjoy the natural surroundings of Hocking Hills. Management was very responsive and property was clean and set up for no hassle from the beginning. Highly recommend Harble Ridge properties for anyone vacationing in Hocking Hills!

Girlfriend Birthday Weekend

We had a wonderful time this weekend with a lot of great friends. The property is incredible with great hiking trails and amenities. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a stay-cation with a short drive to Hocking Hills. As a warning, if you plan on going in the winter, snow may make it difficult to make it to the top of the drive way. A 4WD vehicle is recommeneded if there is snow. OVERALL: a great stay and great property.

Awesome stay for kids

This cabin is the perfect place to bring your kids. From the bunk room to the huge couch, ski ball and arcade machine, hot tub, and natural super heroā€™s playground our kids did not want to leave. Harble Ridge thought of everything and you can tell they put thought into making this an enjoyable and easy stay. We had six adults and seven kids all 8 and under and we didnā€™t feel cramped at all. The only cons we had were that the hot tub was a little cloudy, there was a leak from one of the bathroom sinks and there was a bad sewage smell one day outside. We never smelled it inside but you could smell it from the hot tub. The owners responded to our texts right away about the leak and we didnā€™t contact about the other things because they werenā€™t that big of a deal. I would definitely go back!

We loved our stay at The Legacy. It was a great option for families with young children. The on site trails and playground we amazing. The house was equipped with everything you need from playpens to children's toys. We also appreciated all the signs around the property. It was a great stay!

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay. It was nice to have contact w property manager by cellphone. She handles problems and questions quickly. The arcade was a great hit ! However I didn't think to bring cash for the claw game . The place was beautiful and clean. Lots to do locally and on property . Everyone loved the playground around the trail.

My friends and I had an awesome time here. The place was beautiful and very well kept! The beds were so comfortable. The outdoor space was perfect for all of us to hang out together. The basement was also a great space when it was raining and we didnā€™t want to be outside. Overall, we had a great experience here and would recommend for anyone looking for a getaway near Hocking Hills.

What a winner!

The group consensus was that Malloryā€™s property was the best weā€™ve ever enjoyed while visiting Hocking Hills. Very family friendly the outdoor play area was a huge hit with the kids! We canā€™t wait to book it again.

Perfect get-a-way property for families!

Clean, very accommodating for several families trying to spend time together. Within 12 minutes of most trail heads. We could all dine together, hike on the property and take the littles to a safe and super fun playground. Then chill at the fire pit and retire to our own spacious rooms. Highly recommend. Making Memories

The Legacy is a lovely house with an Arcade to entertain, a hot tub to relax, and a well stocked Kitchen to afford cooking all our meals! Itā€™s location made it easily accessible to all of Hocking Hills scenery and trails! Our family absolutely loved Grampaā€™s Superhero Parkā€¦. Fun for all the children!
