Do not stay here!! You’ve been warned.

This is an old place that had some cheap cosmetic upgrades. Says they have a spa, not open yet. Says they have a bike rental, lie. Shows an open bar, no bartender. Says continental breakfast, waffle, cereal, breakfast bar, and muffin. Make sure you only take one oj or milk or you might get yelled at according to a sign where the milk and oj was. This place needs to reduce their room price to 40-60 a night. Not $145 we paid. We will never be back EVER.

Very nice.

The area felt very safe and welcoming. We enjoyed seeing the farmer plowing the field next to the parking lot. Room was very clean and nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable, but mattress was just a tad soft. Breakfast had no gluten free options for my wife. We really didn't expect any as it was stated to be a continental breakfast and were able to eat at a nearby diner. Our grandson goes to school there, and we wil definitely stay there again when we visit him.

My stay at the Lodge was good. The room was clean and efficient. Everything in the room worked. People were friendly and helpful. This is run by the local college to give the students an opportunity to see what it really takes to run a hotel. I would stay there again if needed.

It was a very basic hotel. Bare minimum amenities. (Also, there is no spa). The pictures were deceiving, they looked like the hotel is very up-to-date, but you can tell it is not. A little rundown. Mostly clean. However, when I stripped my bed before check out for the cleaning staff, there was a blood stain on the mattress.

Our lodge experience.

We wanted to get away for a few days and booked The Lodge at Hocking College. The staff is great, and everyone is so pleasant. Our room was so quiet and relaxing. The front desk clerk ,he gave us great suggestions where to eat; and each place he suggested were phenomenal! We had a great stay.

We waited for 30 minutes at the front desk to check in, and finally someone showed up with no shoes on. On the 2nd night, our room key cards stopped working, and when we went to the front desk to mitigate our problem, the attendant just asked us for our room number and gave us new cards without even asking our name, which seems awfully unsafe. Also, the bed was awful and sunk down in the middle so we ended up gravitating down to the center. Clean, but definitely not comfortable. Bathroom “door” didn’t shut all the way or latch for any privacy either.
