I’ve always preferred the Element and I have always had the most wonderful experience. However, this time was different. The first room I was assigned had a broken deadbolt & I was assigned an adjoining room. I asked to be moved and the hotel employees were so gracious. I got to my 2nd room & the bathroom plug didn’t work, the bathroom main light was out, the bed was so worn that it dipped low on one side, & my room was never serviced the entire time. The price of my room dropped over $100 from what I booked 3 weeks prior but they were unable to adjust because I booked through Expedia, & they were difficult to reach & wouldn’t help so I paid over $300 more than I should for my first poor experience at the Element. Never using Expedia again.
