Horrific excuse for a hotel

I am appalled this hotel is even open. They are undergoing a major renovation of ALL main areas. The lobby was a folding table set-up. They were laying tile and we had to walk over the uncemented tile. It is a HAZARD to guests. Breakfast was a mess, in a meeting space. No actual milk for cereal, almond milk only. Our room was not clean. Someone came off the elevator ahead of us with a mop and pail. The floor was wet from just being mopped, but there was trash and wrappers all over the floor. Seriously! Sweep before mopping! We should have been warned they were undergoing a reno. I am disappointed in both Hyatt and Hotels.com. we would have NEVER stayed here if we had known.

I had booked a room with a king size bed and upon arrival was informed my room was no longer available and was given a room with two single beds. And was charged an extra $50. The lobby and 1st floor were under construction and it was a mess. It would have been nice to know of the construction and that my room was no longer available ahead of arrival.

This property is under construction. That being said….i loved my stay there and I look forward to returning when the construction is complete. I especially appreciated the staff. They were truly amazing and considerate. Great hotel!

Under Construction

The overall stay was fairly comfortable. The location was fair. You around a lot of shopping center, including the Northpoint Mall. But for our stay, it was out of our way. The hotel is going through a renovation currently. The room we stayed in could used a little more renovating. We had a bug (a beetle of some sort) that may have entered through our AC system wall, since there was an unfinished patch. With the renovation, breakfast was moved into tthe meeting room. The hot foods were cold and there was no microwave to heat up the food. I would wait to come here once the renovation is completed.
